There's been a lot of guessing today of who is who in this chat today and I found it really funny to read people's perceptions of one another :-) . So here is my little bit of wisdom :-) (No offence intended, btw):

FigTreeHarry: Very tall and well trained guy, uses coconut oil to keep his well tanned skin supple and if he doesn't train in his home gym, you find him sweating in his sauna. He called himself FigTreeHarry, because he likes to dress up with a fig leaf only :-)

expru2000: A lady who loves pruning her rare roses, but she is dreaming of the days when tulip bulbs where worth more than gold and that is why her favourite holiday destination is Amsterdam :-)

itisagame: If he doesn't trade or write in this chat, he loves playing Donkey Kong on his Super Nintendo. The reason why he trades is not because he wants to become filthy rich, but because it gives him something to do while his old games console is cooling down :-)

HeresHoping: He was undecided whether to call himself Hoping or Hopping. He favourite past time is bouncing on his trampolin imagening how high the value of his shares can go. For this guy the sky is the limit. :-)

Tradehobbs: He has the ability of never becoming emotionally attached to any of his investments. Up to know ;-) Since he invested into Amigo shares, he loves being in this chat feeling like a real Amigo among many other Amigos.

Scrambler: Contrary to the name he chose, he is always busy trying to unscramble the scrambled issues of everything. Being of an extremely analytic nature, he won't buy until he knows all he needs to know and preferably even more :-)

Gibbo81: Loves nuts and monkeys. This trader is on the ball and will bounce up and down on his chair when the SP moves, disregarding the direction it is moving :-)

Mark@1973: Cool, calm and collected. A trader who loves helping others, be in it research or posting his own researches for all to view. My guess is his star sign is the bull.

seamus: A party tiger galore. A man one can find sleeping off his hangover on the beach. This trader doesn't take things too seriously, but is very good at picking his investments.

I would love to have come across DDDD earlier, when the SP was much lower. It seems that Bio-tech companies are rising as they are being part of the new 'industrial revolution' (Industry 4.0). I am still observing fossil fuel shares, but on the long term, I feel they are losing the importance they once had. Therefore I am trying to figure out what is needed to produce the new mobility sector and also the digitalisation of the world. I'm not looking so much into already existing companies, but more at the components these industries will require. If ever it was seriously difficult to try to figure things out, I believe we living in this time right now.

I agree and I am not a fan of the new Smart Phones at all. I use a pc. As for the chunky old TV's I clearly remember watching the First Season of Star Trek on a black, white TV that was fitted inside a cabinet. The old things that could char and/or change colour to everything in their immediate surrounding.
I would never get a smart phone, I don't need one and I don't want one. As for what I watch on the market, it's pretty simple: We're not out of fossil fuel, just yet, but I wouldn't invest into the old companies. As for batteries for the new electrictrick cars :-) there are several options, some batteries need lithium, but they're already working on batteries needing that alone, but I don't if more or not, but these batteries will no longer require graphite as an ingredient ( I mean...come on... we have all used pencils lol :-) ) . Gold will, in my mind, become more important, not so much the coins but as a building element, a resource. At the same time there is research happening into hydro fuelled vehicles/batteries and there was an article in the newspaper that pharma plan to collate to find the Corona Vaccine. It's all very speculative, but that's exactly what it was it was like in the 1990s :-)

I have always been Mousekewitz :-) , if you mean me by 'Mousey' :-) I use the nickname I gave to my grandaughter :-) I love you're idea of getting a boogie-blaster next week lol :-) preferably with cassette tapes rather than discs :-) (Crikey, am I old or what? :D )
Having said that, there was a time in the 1990s when the share market felt like being on a roller coaster. Massive change in technology (TV, phone, vinyl record turned into CDs and we had not that long ago got accustomed to tin our favourite music from the vinyl onto stringy cassettes). Something similar is happening now and it's divided into new forms energy and energy storage (batteries) and all the ingredients that are needed to produce the components necessary to keep the new industrial revolution going. For it's just that, it's a revolution and nobody knows what is best right now. I look at it in the same way when VHS, Betamax and Disco 2000 (I think it was called) battled to become the King of the crop and for a while it was VHS, only to be replaced by discs less than 15 or so years after.
I have always tried to keep up, but as I get older it becomes more difficult. My last mobile phone was one that opened up like an oyster and it was very small and I could make and receive telephone calls. My son's mobile is a: phone, camera, computer, watch, alarm clock, stereo system... it would be a nightmare in my handbag :D . But I still try keep up and therefore I say: Research companies that do medical research (humane ones, for the inhumane ones will soon be outcast) and look into new energies and mobility and the resources needed for that.

I think I watch the movie Christine this evening, to calm down from the excitement of the last two days :-)

@Gibbo81, I just realised that and I am so sorry, if this irritated you so much, that you suggest somebody having a word. I assume 81 refers to the year you were born? I was only 17 then. So put it down to old age if you wish :-) but know this: When you were a year old, I started my first investments. Analogue. Times where a lot different back then. The world was a lot slower, but therefore it didn't have so many smarty-pants walking about lol :-)

Been asking myself that for a while. Who buys and sells such small amounts of a share and why? The fee either way is much higher. Example:

Hi,
I'm still in with my miniature investment of 2000 shares and still have confidence :-) . Doing lots of research into future mobility. Batteries, engines, etc, but especially the 'ingredients' they require - I wish I was more of a tech buff lol - and into bio-tech (medical research). Somebody actually told me of a name of a lab a few days ago, but I have lost it. It wasn't 4D. The SP was in the 20p range. Was an interesting read, until one my cats decided to jump on the off-switch of my pc. Cats can be such jerks.
