DJ, I've been fans of weirdos :D You should've seen my pop star poster wall in the 1970s ;-) Alvin Stardust right next to 10CC and Redbone. Funnily, my favourite song of times by 10CC was 'Wall Street Shuffle'. That came out in 1974, so I was ten years old at the time.

My, oh my...I've just watched a video of one of these kids who pretend to be successful traders and own several houses and seem to share the same Lambo lol on the photos they take lol :-) Well, according to this character "The market is pulling back" :D , but we shouldn't worry, because it gives opportunities (no poop, Sherlock).
Well, 'the market' (and I have no idea which particular one he is talking about, he was talking a lot about Nasdaq, I have to laugh so much when I listen to this snotty little guy, that I can hardly follow his logic lol. Well 'the market' or parts of it is partially inflated. But wasn't that always the case with some stocks? I mean...just look at Tesla. The man has more debt than capital, the SP is in the stratosphere. He had the nerve to chop down an entire forest near Berlin and started building a Giga Factory without having all permissions granted. Should I be worried about that? "No!" :-) A good earthquake every once in a while is good and as long one is invested in solid stocks and not any Mickey Mouse Shares, such as Tesla, who plans to build in excess of 9 million electric cars near Berlin alone (who ever will buy them???) then one will survive.
Having said that. As I also feel 'a force' in 'the market' :-) I have decided to invest into some sensible aka 'booooooooring' stocks as well. For me one these would be TESCO. We all have to eat, right? I have looked at their balance sheet and could find no reason for concern (one thing they will want to pack in, though, is to keep building stores so close to each other, for they are risking to create themselves as their own opponency. Something that can backfire with devastating results). Tesco being the largest provider for food and all things needed in the UK, that seems a sensible investment to me, even if it is a *yaaaaaaawn one.

Thank you, Mark :-) Well, in that case, I'll let you into the secret of my nick name 'Mousekewitz' (prounounced: Mousekevitz' and what it means. It means: Nothing, that makes any sense at all. 'Mouse' is obvious (cute little furry creature with beady eyes), which I am not. 'kewitz' means nothing in any language I know. 'Witz' (Joke in German). But on the whole it's quite simple: It's the nick name I gave my grandaughter. She's now 8 years old and recently told me that she thinks she's now too big for the little Mouse and that the animal needs to be bigger. So I suggested 'Ratskewitz' to her :-) but she then still wanted to keep the mouse in it and chose 'Rattymouse' for herself. Some may say it would be easier to call her by her proper first name, but that wouldn't be fun :-) and also... I still call her dad 'Tigercub' and if I use his real name, then he knows he's in trouble. Not bad, considering he is 32 :-)

Oh yes, I agree that little terriers are about to badmouth a stock. They should be careful, though, for MM may result in unlimited fines or a stretch if they get caught. Sometimes I think it's kids either acting on their own accounts (pranking) or being tipped a few quid by others. I can't see that adults and traders would openly badmouth stocks or spread false information, even LSE warns of doing that. If some do that anyway, then they are stupid, for the times in which the internet was anymous, have long gone and all traders, professional or not, will remember what happened to Florian Homm, when he tried to manipulate the market, to secure advantages for his own hedge fund, by spreading false news and badmouthing. So, if any of them reads this, then be on your guard ;-)

Yeah, but it's p-poor on all of my stocks. In comparison Amigo is my best performing one today lol. But that's Amigo for you. It never does what you expect it to do and defies all logic.

expru and all others, I'm not esoteric, not a witch, don't believe in Voodoo or anything of the kind, but this here helped me about two years ago when I suffered from a nasty and stubborn chest infection. vagabon, I'm happy that GB never joined the Euro. Being now one of the two strongest currencies in the world, won't make things easier for us, for I know a lot of people that live in Euroland are already buying Pound Sterling. It's not so much a matter of IF but WHEN the Euro will crash and there is no way that Euroland can dig itself out of hole they have shovelled. To re-instate the Deutsche Mark, was a thought a few years ago, but with Merkel having nearly de-industrialised the country (and she is not finished to de-industrialise) that is no longer an option. The is no more steel industry in Germany, the car manufacturing is a joke. It's a case of "Get the half ready part from China and we screw them together". There are stretches of the Autobahn on which trees are sprouting, some call certain parts of the Autobahn "Schlaglochallee" (Pothole Alley) or "Golfplatz, die mit den 18 Loechern" (Golf Course, the one with the 18 holes). The economical powerhouse Germany is history. The new generation is of the greenest green that would make green look weird, but this generation of Green Germans don't hesitate for one second to allow for wild forests, some so old, than any Roman Soldier would recognise them, to be chopped down, so a Wind Turbine can be erected. I have failed to understand Germany the moment they allowed members of the party of former East Germany to swan into parliament and place their fat behinds on political seats shortly after the reunification. These people shut have stood trial in The Hague for what they did! I am a different German, I was born in West Germany, my capital was called Bonn and not Berlin and we did well with the world and in all the years of the devision, it was the East Germans who called the wall the 'Anti Fascist Safety Wall' but it was their government who outlived the of A.H.: "all for one and one for all and individualists will be persecuted, arrested, jailed, or even killed".

What I'm trying to say, vagabond, is that since the reuinifacation of Germany, which was the kickstart for the Warsaw Pact being dissolved, the Soviet Union to disintegrate, the Balkan Wars, which all have resulted in other things, I don't know. I only know that the Euro is walking on crutches since it started walking and thankfully Britain didn't join it. I believe they did not, because a burnt child is scared of the fire and Kudos to them, when I think back to that day in 1992 and the British Army had to pay most soldiers in Germany in cash because of the exchange rate... ;-) and thank you, Mr Soros, for having proven your might ;-) (Black Wednesday ;-) )

vagabond, I have no idea. Right now I'd be happy for any SP that would take my investment out the reds. When I invested I didn't the lockdowns would last so long, that China would be able to start buying up the developed world and I never would have thought that the ECB is feeding billions of Euros into the economy of the EU, which makes the pound rise. I also never would have thought back then, that the Dollar is becoming a danger. We need to face some facts here: There are only THREE currency in the world that NEVER failed. Two are very old, the Pound Sterling and the Dollar and one was the strongest currency, the Deutsche Mark. The latter didn't FAIL, it had to get taken out of commission by the Eurocrats, but the Euro had to be based on it's strength to make it digestible for all the European states that decided the join the common currency. In the years before the Euro was launched, prices on EVERYTHING were raised in Germany. I saw myself confronted with a tin of tomatoes costing such quirky numbers as DM 0.61 ;-) . We were since 1948 used to prices ending on 99, 98 and 95. That odd ending in the pfennige of the prices increased over a few years, making everything gradually more expensive. I still in Germany when the EURO (this currency cooked up by spawns of Satan) was over night introduced. On that day I woke with half the money in my bank account, but everything was twice as expensive as it was the day before. I give you an example:

The evening before the Euro became the Common Currency, I went to our local chippy and bought this: 2 half chickens (grilled), 2 large chips, 1 small chips, 1 Currywurst, 2 portions of Krautsalad and I paid Deutsche Mark 15.95 The evening on the Euro's activation I went to the same place, ordered exactly the same things and the bill was Euro 39.95

We lived not far (about 10 minutes) from the Dutch border. In the Netherlands a Happy Meal from McFat cost one quarter less than it did in Germany.
