Amigo for me is a bit like trying to tame a wild horse. For myself I have made more manageable, but it's far from being obedient. I look at it like this: If the SP I have initially bought in was 13.5p, then it dropped, I bought more on a lower SP, which brought my all over spread, so when it then rises to say... 10.5p I can sell some off, even though 'technically' my figures on my share account will show red, I'd make a profit, but my spread doesn't drop. The spread will only drop if I was to sell off completely. Which would be ok to do, if you think the stock has reached it's peak and no longer want it, or if you think the stock will drop below the level you have ever bought it for. I've worked out the numbers for myself and for me they work.
