Cbsinvest, I doubt very much that H&L are a major stake holder in Amigo. It's not H&L it's the customers of H&L that are invested in a stock which get counted, not the company as such. I have seen this quite often and I asked H&L about it.

I have just noticed, that Amigo either still is or is now available as investment through the monthly savings plan through H&L. I have a good look at the companies on this list last week and I can't recall having seen Amigo on there, then. Now it is on this list. I might have missed it, but it tells me that there is still life in Amigo. Having said that, I don't know who decides which companies appear on this list, if it H&L or the companies themselves. If anyone knows, please share the info.

Anyone who reports a post that is not a personal attack or an act of discrimination against one individual or a group, has completely lost my respect and I feel I'm not alone in this. Grasses like Jimmy, who simply report people of out spite, with a 'GOTCHA! - Attitude', are known to be responsible for the suffering of fellow-human beings and their families and in some regimes they are responsible for the death of others. A certain short Austrian with a funky moustache may have awarded you, Jimmy, with a medal. I, on the other hand, award you with the knowledge that after what you just revealed you did, I wouldn't spit on if you stood on fire.

Same here, expru. On this board we can sometimes just have a chin wag, for the sake of chatting :-) and I always recognised you a good friend on this board :-)

Unicorns are what I call exceptional companies that have been missed and so far underrated that I find them worth investing into. When they take off, I'm usually looking for 300% or a lot more (I had one that got me over 1000% return) return on my investment ;-). If you spot one, go for it, Gosia ;-) I have something like a herd in my portfolio ;

GosiaS, the tiny transaction can be the result of three things: Small investor platforms (such as Robin Hood), investments through funds and share savings plans. If you have a look around other shares, you will see these tiny trades all over place these days. Look at what stands behind each transaction. AT = Automatic Trade, OT = Ordinary Trade and UT = Uncrossing Trade (the latter doesn't effect anything, as it is 'uncrossing'). Also, sometimes sales (reds) are actually buys and vice versa. No idea why that happens, it just does and don't forget that what you see here is 15 minutes old.

Gosia, I have no idea. I did not get an email about any news, but it can drop suddenly. We have seen that in here numerous times.

Finally, my hold is £10 less in the red today :-) . Hope everybody is fine. I have been busy with a lot of things. Mainly re-structuring my investment planning. I'm now set up and on route for my portfolio showing a plus of around £10k by the end of this year, which may not sound much for some, but after that the sky is no longer my limit. Came across two gems, one of which (Stock Spirits) can be added to the Monthly Savings Plan on H&L. Now I'm hoping that Amigo keep it's current direction :-)

Cardinal and Schalf, I'm feeling much better, that I have done away with my majority holding in Amigo for now. It gave me the the opportunity to invest into high valued shares. That is what I wanted. I'm done with investing into to holes in the ground in some country I have never visited and hope for the best. That I did to raise the capital to invest into high value shares. And it doesn't matter if you can buy one or two or more, or even a fraction of one share. I've started off with £900 in
summer of 2020 and my portfolio now shows £2400, I am doing something right.

Cause I've seen it before. All shareholders lose when these things get switched and who is to say that Amigo 2.0 will ever happen? My portfolio is in blue right now and I have made small profits trading Amigo, but nothing like what I'm experiencing now. Amigo is stuck right now, but I don't like my to be stuck. As I said, I still have a holding in Amigo, just in case it ever takes off again, but the lack of information from the company itself towards its shareholders has turned into a guessing game.

I've got 3k share left now of Amigo and I won't buy any more. Means if it should completely tank, then I'd lose £120-odd. I've 'hedged' against potential loss by buying one Louis Vuitton, 2 Disney, 2 Unilever, and the rest went into the Pictec Robotic Fund.
