That, Shanieg, is a great strategy ;-) . If viking was to buy exactly 100 000 shares (on 10.01 per share when he sold, he got £10100) on the price of around 9p, he'd spent £9000 on this amount having £1.100, which he could invest into a new adventure :-) .Personally, I'd put £1000 into Unilever, as they have dropped significantly, but Unilever is so big, it has always recovered, plus they pay out dividend 4x per year and the current div yield is at 3.82% :-). Even with the relatively low amount of shares he could get for £1000 (around 25 shares) it would a no-brainer for me. If they reach their year-high of £49 again, it'd be another £200 plus in the kitty :-) add to that the dividends that come in during that time ;-)
