Franky, I just simply don't like people like her. She sees a victim in everybody who ever took a loan, but these people were adults and I don't want to know how many gave the agents false data in regards of their income and outgoings. It reminds me of my hubby an I taking out life assurance after buying our first house. The agent was asking if and how much we drink and smoke and of course... 10 lagers per week became 10 per months and where I smoke, my hubby, who does not smoke, said that I smoke about about 5 ciggies (20 was correct) per day and that I'm in the process of stopping completely. We were also asked if we have dangerous jobs (well, my hubby at that time was a soldier :-) and dangerous hobbies, at that time I enjoyed sports like martial arts and car racing :-) ) It was me then, who asked this agent why does not ask the ultimate question that will kill us all, which is: "Are you alive?" .
What I'm trying to say is, that the folks who took out loans and their guarantors knew what they were doing when they took out the loans and I know for fact, that if you run into problems due to losing a job, injury or illness, these loan companies can help you. All you have to do is inform them about a change in the situation and ask. At the end of the day, they want their monies back, but sometimes people take out loans already planning to never pay them back. There are such people who will not understand that taking out a loan like an Amigo loan and sticking to the repayments will actually benefit their credit ratings. That is another thing that Camel Lady does NOT inform her clients about.
