Thank you, Kuurj. I agree that lenders like Amigo (and also Provi) are necessary. I was in around 2009 in a situation, that I needed a bridge loan of a few hundred pounds, in between having sold one and buying a new house. We, of course, first turned to our bank only to find out that they wouldn't grant a small loan, but only one of a minimum of £10000 or more. Now, that was not what we wanted, so went with Provi for a small bridge loan to cover until everything was straight again. Lenders like Amigo (and Provi) don't just serve people who can't get a loan no matter what, but also those who just need a bridge without getting tied into a huge loan, plus interest for that, plus mortgage. People who just need a loan: "Thank you for your help, here's your money back plus interest - nice knowing you". Had we gone for the loan-offer of £10000 it would have chipped our credit status significantly, whereas going through Prov at that time, it actually boosted it. That is what people need to know and not the stories of people who take out loans by lying about income they never had.
