Shareman,
every plant goes through shutdowns. Some are small and regular, some are large and infrequent. They all have their timing, as in monthly, annual or other.
Looking at the add you shared it looks like a major shutdown and will usually, depending on the size of the plant, take several weeks with round the clock activity, in order to make them as short as possible, as shutdowns are expensive.
It takes a special set of skills to manage such major shutdowns. Most companies do not keep these skills and hire them in for the time being. Some big companies just ferry the people with these skills around their global assets.

Yes, but the problem with immunity is that there is no responsibility.
As I said, whatever happens to you is of no concern to these pharmas. Very, very important I think.
MS
@SaintSmith
You do know these pharmas all have immunity right?
Whatever happens to you as a result of taking their covid vaccine is of no concern to them.
MS
B2H,
Thanks for reposting that.
Great read.
MS
volume 13.6 mln.
Buys and sells 11.8 mln together.
Soooo, what is going on.
Another kipper in the making?
CAW1?
MS
@Mac,
just one small clarification please.
For that notice to be given, UAP could not have held the assets anymore (so, disposed of before the notice) OR
the assets will have to be disposed of within the 3 months notice period?
Do you know?
Thanks
MS
right, so we keep reading that eua are a disaster and losing money.
Interestingly, our BoD were able to place usd 20 mln worth of shares two weeks ago with an American ii.
Curious how stupid these ii are and how intelligent our so called 'saviours ' here are.
Yeah, right.
Don't let these critters take you out of your shares!
And, as Montmuzard so eloquently said yesterday, don't punch yourself in the face.
MS
GFD, but you have to discount the first 2 days if they are a non working day.
So, from RMRs article I think it's 25 days.
Will the BoD care....
Who knows ;-)
Do I care, no.
MS
RMR,
Interesting, as your article actually states minimum 25 days as I said a couple of days ago in response to your post and day 1 and 2 cannot be a non working day....
So, which is it?
MS
@montmuzard
Aaaaaand that must be the quote of the day:
"Any PI who sold shares today which are counted up in that 2.5 million, give yourself (another) punch in the face."
Brilliant.
MS
aaaand, there we have it.
CAW1 correct again!
Chapeau!
MS
@caw1
No idea how you do it, but it's great to read your trade posts. And always correct as well!
MS
@DmotryC
That is your interpretation.
I for one never saw the JV as part of the deal.
For me it was a blinder the BoD pulled out of the blue and extra to what was offered. So, in fact a reset of the deal if you like.
MS
@Aubrey,
How do you know that this isn't the biggest?!
MS
Interesting how someone just used the same heading to start a new thread. Very weird.
Anyway Steve, there is only one solution for you if this is 'grotesquely overvalued'.
@Roger,
Surely your post stems from the decline in SP from when you bought in late.
So, ask yourself, what is it that you think the BoD, who are negotiating sale of the assets as mentioned per RNS, should tell you that you don't already know.
Surely you're not going to tell us that you want them to tell you how the negotiations are going as that would be really unprofessional of our BoD and would worry me tremendously if that is what they did.
So, again, ask yourself what you think you are lacking in information that the BoD are withholding from you?
I'd really like to know.
MS
@GFD,
Excellent response.
I use it often!
Ms
So RMR,
To conclude. For an AGM to be held in June, the last day is the 30th of June, which means that the latest a notice can be send is 25 days prior, or the 5th of June.
However, as day 1 and 2 have to be working days it would have had to be today, as Monday is the 7th which is too late.
So, no AGM this month then?
MS
Thanks AK
Well that's clear then. Massive spend on others but nothing on primerdesign for March and April....
MS
@hydrogen
So, if this scenario plays out then banks are going at this the complete wrong way.
Currently EU banks are pushing savings away by starting to charge for storing over euro 100k with them. This, amongst other things, is driving the housing boom at the moment.
If the gold and silver scenario based on Basell 3 plays out the banks will be in trouble, (not only the bullion banks) needing all the money they can get to stay liquid. Right?
Am I missing the point or are the banks?
