Hi B2,
Yes indeed. I have indicated the same in relation to those griproom articles as there are a lot of similarities.
However, as the post was started by someone, I thought I'd entertain the idea at least, see what I'd get to.
That is it. Just can't see what we would be buying though hence the question.
Can easily see why we would be bought though, as stated before.
MS
Interesting idea, this buy back. Or is it?
This is why companies buy back shares:
1. Give back surplus cash they don’t know what to do with.
2. Reduce cost of equity. Not relevant here.
3. Signal that their shares are undervalued. This is very much valid here.
4. Improve financial metrics.
So, as there is no point in sitting on a large and growing pile of cash, why don't they do a buy back?
The only conclusion I can draw is that they do realise that a buy back can improve investor confidence and hence boost SP which will help they company financially later,
BUT,
they know they need the money for planned further investments.
So, what could they be looking to buy that will further the company?
Suggestions anyone?
MS
Funny enough Porky, because the likes of gggg21 said the exactly same when he sold out. Well, he said he would only buy back when they dropped the SP to silly numbers. He said that at £4.
MS
MAlva, you're not reading.
Volume to tonnes require specific gravity, as a cbm of rock weighs different from a cbm of feathers.
That is what Bamps uses it for.
Then tonnes and g/t come into play.
Go look it up.
Ms
Daveand, really??
Ms
Carlito,
I don't know you but that was very funny.
Made me laugh.
Thanks
MS
@hydrogen
Hi, saw the other day that you mentioned ARB had a gap to fill at 160. So, a ls we are now this close to 160, does that mean a buy signal? Not asking for advise on investing, just getting familiar with the gaps.
MS
VanV, I know that full well and I was talking specifically about you and that drive you did to push the government at the time. Just didn't want to mention you as last time I did you started talking about 'smoke' and 'jacksies'.
MS
@Kaeren, good post. Again.
Your post part
"Roll on two years '"Mr Johnston why did you not utilise a British company that had the very product available , first to market that could assist "
************
You don not have to roll on two years.
Just look back 1 year. We had the tests then in January and we never got any/much mention/use then either.
And it's not like they didn't know about us and our tests. They were made very well aware of us and it.
Nope, they preferred to use the cheap, inaccurate imported junk.
Makes one wonder why that was. And is for that matter. It's incomprehensible.
MS
@JTB, that post is still on TMT his profile.
If that interference from the admin causes you to leave a share then you're in for a treat. This interference happens on every BB and there is no apparent rule on why things and way things stay.
Bit drastic to then advise others to stay out of a share. Almost as if you were giving investment advise there..
MS
Haja, yes. Like repackaging israelian products fornthe middle East in an intermediate country.
MS
I'm sorry guys, but a dispute like this you DO NOT resolve through legal people. The commercial people will have to make a call on that. For sure.
Done it many times. Yes, in the UK and yes for very large amounts.
That is also why I said it's crazy that NCYT put out that RNS.
MS
@montmuzard.
Another cracking post.
Keep it up!
MS
Kaeren,
I'm with you on the resolution process as how it should be.
What is very odd to me is that NCYT sends out that RNS stating the dispute. Normally one would try to resolve it first before going to market with such an announcement. So, that RNS in my view would come when the commercial resolution process has failed. Which is not something you want with your 50% customer I would say. Unless NCYT wants to ditch them?
I have no idea what purpose they think it can serve apart from polarising the parties even more. 'You tell the market we are wrong? Excellent, see you in court to prove it'.
Publishing it now is beyond me.
MS
Bluelight,
Spot on. Any self respecting company would always provide a revenue forecast for the quarter and the year. Even in difficult times. Add the caveats for the forecast, no worries.
The fact that Novacyt didn't and doesn't is quite unprofessional in my view.
How can you make any business decisions if you don't know where your heading. Crazy.
MS
Sonic, I agree this doesn't add up.
I have referred several times to those griproom articles. There are too many similarities.
Read them and ask yourself, is the BoD really this incompetent. Having your own broker kick you in the nuts within 1 trading day after a massive drop in SP. Really?
You can't make this up.
MS
Ha, that's the spirit Porky!
MS
I'll say it again. What the feck is the point of a post like this? For f sake, get a life or a job, but do something constructive to create something instead of trying to break stuff down.

opto-pessimist how is the externally referenced, independent report misleading. What is misleading is the 100s of one sides posts without alternative views tolerated.
Eua, chose to go via fsp. They didn't have to. And in reality if they didn't a deal would have been long done and dusted.

So sick of this useless ****.
MS
Thanks Tilly,
Your positivity is amazing and very much appreciated.
Never let go!
MS
been on the beach all day chillaxing as the kids would say to come back to this post headline....
"No one seriously expects this to close higher than Fridays close do they?"
What a joke this is. What is the point of a post like this apart from trying something stupid to instigate fear.
I'm soooo tired of these useless posts. Get a life, or a job. But please do some useful with your life.
