Personally I don't like these director buys. They add very little in confidence (as it's a very small amount) and all it tells me is that there is no significant news coming any time soon, otherwise he would not be able to buy.

I think not. Just his wording is unfortunate.

The RNS of August 7 clearly states no further drilling required at WK.

When Keith responds and states 'Situation at WK is quite different in terms of required drilling than at MT', what I think he says is what Mac indicates. The drilling is different (as in Shell and Auger, see earlier post link) which makes the use of the Precision tool useless due to the steel casings left in the borehole to support the hole (or the collapse of the borehole if the steel casings are removed after completion of the hole).

What he doesn't say is that there is more drilling required at WK. Just that the drilling that was required when they did it was different from what was required at MT.

Link to the description of 'shell and auger' drilling. Steel casings are put in the borehole to avoid collapse, so nothing to be seen afterwards.

I think you may be misreading his point.

The way I read it is that they have drill cores (solid) at MT for which they can use the precision tool. At WK they get gravel (not solid), not drill cores hence his reference to bags of the stuff. So they can't use the precision tool.
That doesn't mean they have not drilled substantially at WK as per the rns.
