It will remain until they cook up new projects that the strengthened team can announce and will then be quietly dropped like others in the past

I think the AGM is going to be quite heated. The RNS is pretty much an admission of management and board failure. If every project is slower than expectations then the expectations are off. The only thing they have really been successful in is raising money and spending it.

Blimey even the jam tomorrow is a bit thin! Which is probably a result of a reality check since the new CEO getting to grips with the inept chairman and CTO.

They deserve a roasting at the AGM. Really is quite pathetic and is not good enough.

Struggle to see much support for shareholders to support the next raise when it comes.

I personally think the DFS will be released Monday / Tuesday. The key market is Aus so GGP will likely talk to those shareholders before he comes to UK.

And what does winging on an open forum actually achieve?

If we are being played, and quite frankly, when there is big money involved then this is par for the course then you have a binary choice : stay and take the rise when it happens or leave with what you have.

There is absolutely no point venting as you can’t change anything but your own view.

Somehow I don’t think a last minute comms will fool anyone this year. Any criticism of QED board is absolutely warranted as the woeful comms, fairytales about progress and pathetic ability to stick to self imposed timelines demonstrate the disconnect to reality that AM and JM are not really up to the task. Only hope is that PB is not another BS merchant

It’s quite simple really. And yes it is a lousy dog of a share. In the 14 years I’ve been invested the share price continues to be sub 3p. The communication from the board and executives is woefully inept. They have a habit of providing encouraging news every time they need money. AN and JM have really little clue how to run anything, manage stakeholders or understand timelines.

And after the fireworks from last November/ December here we are with pretty much no progress on any front. I mean the Sparkle trial was concluded in days so this was obviously pushing at an open door.

Personally, I disagree. There can’t be any organisation within Shipping world who don’t already have an appreciation of what Quadrise offers. After 14odd years and countless interviews and attendance at conferences. This now needs specific and targeted conversations with the high ups. This is what Peter has been recruited for. He just needs to get on with it. After all he’s just been awarded a shedload of share options.

My personal view about the Macquarie attack in July was that this was “payback” for GGP managing the share process and cutting out the banks for taking their cut and cheap shares during the listing. Especially as it was oversubscribed.

They were always enthusiastic for GGP but had to find a way for getting in cheap. They’ve done that now.

Too many emotional posts on here. We’re dealing with the big boys now who have real money and power to influence things. PI are really just here until they’re not and that suits the likes of Macquarie just fine.

Somehow, I expect QED will attempt to release some update before the AGM this year. They will try and diffuse the potential for an uncomfortable AGM. However, I suspect that if the news is fairly transparent “jam tomorrow “ rather than tangible then they will be in for a bit of a rocky meeting and justifiably so given the over optimistic and pathetically amateur communications from Morrison and Miles since the last AGM.

It is kind of redundant, Peter was clear in the conference call that he saw opportunities either way the IMO went. We now have a decision (of sorts) and it’s now time Peter annd the rest earns their pay. We are 5 weeks to the AGM. In the year that Jason and Andy promised so much and delivered so so little, there needs to be something that represents tangible progress. QED can ill afford to carry passengers. It’s time to turn this commercial. No ifs or buts.

Some catalysts are immediate and some require a little bit of time to have an effect. I personally think the ASX is a catalyst but needs to react with some consistency of performance. To be honest I believe the chain reaction is underway and will accelerate from now with drilling results, formal Quarterly results and the DFS being announced.

Because there is no immediate need for additional funds. The company hasn’t got a clue on timelines because they are not in control and unlike last year when there was a specific need to be optimistic in order to ensure their wages continued to be paid. It ain’t rocket science

And we are believing a random faceless individual on a public share discussion board. Who, incidentally, has made up multiple accounts and lies about filtering others but then miraculously claims when a specific account calls “him/her/ them” out.
