So that will take, what, 3-5 years minimum (probably longer as anyone would wait till iscib1+ was properly established before even thinking about it), and potentially complete with 40% of iscib1+. Seriously doubt anyone would bother, just buy Scancell or iscib1+. By the time there was competition Scancell could have scib2, modi-1, modi-2 etc.. at or near to phase 3.

If that's your best de-ramp you really are getting desperate. Anyway, none of it works according to you, so it's moot - you can't have it both ways.

Scib1 patent expires 2028

iScib1+ parent expires 2040

All the signs are the registration trial will be iScib1+, so good patent life left.

Scinv, as you well know, nobody can just use scib1 unless it has been through a phase 3 trial, so your argument is nonsense.

To clarify my point a bit further - it's entirely sensible for investors to have expectations that Scancell will give them a percent return in the thousands, and it is very much the industry model.

Talk of ‘the market is never wrong', 'I work in big pharma and know better' which is palpably made up frustrates me.

Sadly the relentlessness of it does have an impact on shareholders who have done their research and balanced their risk/reward appropriately. People begin to doubt themselves.

I am reminding us all that these posters (we all know who they are) will lie, cheat, and generally use any tactics they think will work to make you doubt and encourage you to sell.

Yes some of us are ‘rampers’ but we have declared our hand, and are transparent in our posting.

Chester, sorry not aimed to you, sorry if it came across that way. Aimed at 'other' posters who, I think, impact genuine investors expectations.

I really don't understand why intelligent people are playing down the possibilities here and dissing 10x, 100x gains - this kind of reward is *expected* in biotech - the industry works by small startups feeding the big pharma pipelines. Most fail but those who succeed see massive returns. All the evidence is that Scancell are / will soon be one of the few successes.

A lot of this is explained by investor fatigue, but the derampers have their impact too. Don't be fooled, they are deramping for a reason, but they are being disingenuous as they don't declare their hand, which is to get cheap shares off you. They will spout utter nonsense, claim boards like this don't impact the sp, that they are just trying to help innocent investors etc.. etc..

The more desperate and prolific they get, the more they want your shares.

It's actually £630m plus royalties, so could be a lot higher, and that x 2 for the 2 mabs

So, if I am right, this is dilution (as was always expected to fund Glymabs btw), but not tied to the share price, so will be much better for current shareholders.

And, importantly, it will mean a major player(s) taking a stake to drive the development forward quickly.

i.e. Phil doing exactly what he is paid to to do - release the value of the portfolio, drive the business forward. He is doing a cracking job, shame about the environment / background sellers that are holding back the sp.

The positive news keeps coming, and the sp will "turn on a sixpence" once it clicks with "the market".

My opinion - someone (possibly Genmab, possibly not, possible several parties) are very interested in SC134 and/ore other mabs and/or the whole glymab pipeline, but not offering quite enough for Scancell to sell outright - so a deal has been struck where they can own a percentage (via Glymab Ltd) for an investment to fund development.

I expect full details of who / how much / implied total value of Glymab in the next few weeks.

Would not be a massive surprise if Glymab Ltd is IPO'ed as a separate company, and all Scancell shareholders get pro-rata shares in the percentage of the company that Scancell end up owning after the investment.

Educated guess only, time will tell!

Absolutely miavoce, obvious to anyone with half a brain that Glymabs Ltd is not jus a PR stunt, there is commercially sensitive motivation behind this.

Call me an optimist, but this is extremely positive - one or more big players want to be a part of the Glymab journey, and Scancell shareholders will benefit.

Last few days - I wonder if a background seller (Lombard?) are done, or maybe new buyers are building stakes.

As you are so astute, why aren't you busy running a company like Scancell and doing it much better than all the talented staff there with 100s of years experience between them?

Your amazing talents are surely wasted spending all day attempting to wind up people who take no notice of what you say.

Is that it enables the vaccine arm of the company to be treated as a separate legal entity.

Wonder if that was also a consideration - does someone want the vaccines but not interested in glymabs?

Crusty, don't know the purpose - but these events haven't historically moved the sp, so not what you say.

Could be as simple as regular shareholder comms - Scancell will have a package with Investor Meet, and it might be that these dates are pre-planned in advance.

The fact that 3 heavy hitters from the board are present would indicate something of significance though? Maybe a change of plan to allow SC134 to be progressed faster?

Anything major would have to be an RNS and it would be highly unusual to announce the meeting before the RNs, so my guess is a firming up of timelines around data release and the plan for phase 3.
