Scancell own 100% of GT - they can sell, say 50% of GT to GenMab for £50M, then that money is Scancells to do what they want with.
Then a further fund-raise for just GT could involve all GT shareholders (i.e. Scancell and GenMab) investing funds for just GT - so Scancell may put some of the £50M back into GT and retain some for the rest of their pipeline.
That's only one possibility, there are many ways this can be achieved - final decision will depend on negotiations, funding requirements, tax efficiency etc.. etc..
