I see your point. Maybe we'll get a more lucrative deal this time. Hope so anyway, and I agree it would good to see a more business driven approach this time round. The US backing will help with this I'm sure.

Seems odd the sp has fallen today when the main 2 transactions were the bed & isa. No other sizeable trades.
Hate to sound like a conspiracy theorist, but are the MM's using the bed & isa as an excuse to tease out some business?

Or some combination of these. And yes I do realise I'm talking to myself now.

Or if not a fee, then stumping up funds to progress the research / trials.

Surely the "granting an option to a future licence" would be in return for a fee to Scancell, no?
Else why would they do it?

That caveat is to cover things like share splits or consolidation. It certainly doesn't give a right to just change the issue price at will, so I will stick to my assertion that we DO know the conversion price

Not sure if it was discussed yesterday, but this is a big show of confidence in the investors that they have set a price upfront. Shows they don't expect the price to be lower than this come repayment.

We do know the conversion price - from yesterdays RNS:
"a subscription for Convertible Loan Notes with an aggregate principal amount of £6 million and conversion price of 6.2 pence"

Does anybody have a reasoned argument for what EMMAC might be valued at?
FFWD have only 2.3%, so the valuation would have to be £100M+ for it to be massively meaningful.
Not meant as a negative, just trying to figure out if this news is a rocket for FFWD or not.
How much seed funding have EMMAC had? What was the valuation at last funding round?

I'm not sure to be honest, is the CLN only 'potential dilution' or 'future dilution' ??

Scancell are very quiet, price is holding up well this week.
The mythical 1 trade ("I need shares").
News afoot? mAbs deal? Covidity funding? SCIB1 patient dosed? Black Swan?

That seems likely - Scancell have already mentioned funding, and once they get a firm offer(s), that probably puts them in a closed period until they have progressed it far enough to RNS.

You have to remember Vulpes is not an active scientific member of the board - he's only there because his fund invested money. Not happy that he sold some, because of the impact on the share price, but really it's fair enough - he's an investor, he's allowed to make money.
As a previous poster mentioned, this is not a regular investment fund, so we can't read too much into it. Maybe someone in the family had a big bill and they decided they could take some profit on Scancell to pay for it. They still have shed loads, so very much still stand to profit from all the potential.
We will probably never know why he sold, but so long as it's a one-off opportunistic profit take, there's nothing to fear, he can't be privvy to any material information cos if he was he would be in a closed period and unable to buy or sell.
Lets just hope it's a one-off. I suspect it is, else the notifications would not have been so quick in coming - he would have wanted to sell as many as possible at a higher price before notifying (so as to not crash the price before he'd finished).
