Money has been raised at .15p and .12p this year. Even if the licence is delayed further, the most recent raise at .12p puts a floor on the sp. Most who brought in short term on the back of the bucket shop tip and/or expecting news last week have left now I suspect.

The massive spread (18/38, and similar on all 4 of the Oxford VCTs) puts me off.
Scancell is 1/6th of the portfolio, with the majority of the rest in an unlisted document management company. If you like the look of the document management company (I don't personally) then you basically get it for free with the current Scancell share price. But you may have to wait years to actually realise the value via dividends or wind-up as it is so liquid.

Sailed past my average several days ago. So glad I held my nerve and trebled my holding sub-10p.

Who bought in recently were clearly expecting news by now and are selling out.
News by end of the week I reckon. As a previous poster indicated, it will take a few days to dot i's and cross t's.

In 1 or 2 years, moves of a few pence will be such a small percentage of the price it won't be worth talking about. And I'll be sipping a beer on my balcony in my ocean view villa :)

This is my opinion of course, but I have a grasp of the science and the market, and I am extremely comfortable with my buy-and-hold strategy for Scancell.

At 09:35:50 this morning a single share traded.
The conspiracy theory is that trades of 1, 10, 1000 is a secret market maker code for "I need shares".
Was planning to top up before next week anyway, and now is as good a time as any, so I'm in for another 3 million :)

It is a good point about the multiple platforms, trials and collaborations. The pipeline of a large pharma at the price of a startup. Much lower risk than other 'one shot at goal' small biotechs.

Lol, for those of us that have held 8 years plus definitely not a get rich quick scheme!
But the stars do seem to be aligned now far more so than any time since I first purchased (in 2012), and I have had the opportunity to bring my average below 10p so not complaining about the wait too much.
Remember, Scancell spent a few weeks over 50p after the initial moditope announcement, and the science has moved forward a great deal since then. Don't see any reason they shouldn't be 50p+ now, certainly in terms of peer companies. And then higher on positive news.
