MM built this business from scratch, the City and shorters took the proverbial P**s at every turn. Built him up and shot him down (Best, Clough, Woods, and a million others same). So doing the legally minimum updates and hopefully letting the numbers talk getting on with it is what I would in his place, so I don’t think he has ruined anything. He has hit his growth targets and over anticipated on Ingenuity it the beauty side arguably ahead of expectations. These results will tell us all we need to know, is he a con artist or misunderstood. I think he will come through and still have the faith. I bloody hope I’m right ??

I’m in on 250k shares average price 99p after doubling down. I’m trying to think why so low as most SP’s leak on good info (but not all). So if I think what could be the bad news, most shared in these posts: Revenue above 20% seems to me unluckily but they have guided so need to deliver to have any city credibility/ trust. The other area is all the business’s they purchased may need downward good will adjustments, I think the difference of what is current versus write downs comes off the P&L. Agree with earlier posts that all the potential headwinds have migrated into tail winds [Whey, USD strength, freight]. They should be able to price up to cover energy same as our competitors and the positives offset this also. I think the biggest shape shifter as earlier poster said will be a dramatically reduced losses and a BEP estimated and communicated date. Once we go into profit, the city sellers and shorters argument that the business model doesn’t work gets crushed into sand. Then we could / should climb to some sort of fair value. I guess in these horrible markets right now that’s 150 to 200p. Fingers crossed for positives on the 15th Sept. GLA

I’m sure this is rock solid vastly undervalued, it’s the markets worrying about global slowdowns which are killing shares like Cinema and some retail shares (I get that completely). So if less products sold then less chips. We cp are in EV and areas that will be less effected I strongly believe. My conclusion is, if any spare money around we can double it in 18 to 24 months which from TV pundits seems to be the period the recession and bear squeeze will last. So it’s buy when everyone is fearful and sell when everyone is greedy per dear old Warren Buffets mantra. Also With rising interest rates and the stress on balance sheets caused and will get worse that can hit share prices quite hard on indebted companies we are totally immune with our enormous cash surplus so that is one thing we can cross off the standard worry list regarding AWE.

Boo hoo had no idea of the problems here now as a minority stakeholder / trading partner are they relevant to potential administration (Obviously). Weird posts of naive / delusional Investors here. Lots of mis information here. BOO are not buying more and there are clearly issues with accounts and suspensions on the way. How bad is it what sharp practice has been going on. Clearly the C level directors all know and are party to it. So they are by definition un ethical and un trustworthy. Probably find the banking covenants are breached so borrowing can now be at way higher interest rates and any real earnings will be to pay their banks. People are very naive to how corporations function. There will be some casino day trading opportunities like Joules for the very brave. We could be insolvent and be the next Debenhams, certainly lots of parallels if you research their RNS before all shareholders lost everything.

With a Nav PS of 90p, Constellation taking 20% off Tony Brammal and his family for 102p PS. Probably an enterprise value of 130p. I really don’t think the time to take over Lookers has passed at all. I think it’s never been better with SP down at 75p to 80p.

Although it’s a little expensive we’re big enough now for a dual listing. This would get the SP rocketing as companies like THG with TO in excess of £2.2 billion would get noticed and the MM could drop his golden share once were trading over say 200p.

What do we know, material accounting issues are identified, can’t get the final numbers signed off from Feb 22 for heavens sake. There will be a material net loss bigger than previously shared. big debts, rising interest rates and in danger of breaking banking covenants. I think it will drop to below 10p before it turns any corners - Let’s see?

The historic P/E is very high at around 128. So that will keep the SP quite range bound. Once we get the Interims end of Oct or early November that should bring it down a lot and maybe make it more wisely investible. With £500m in cash and a Market value around £950m it looks a little undervalued on its book or enterprise value. The growth patterns are currently outstanding so let’s see if it continues. Sitting on cash is no good as it doesn’t get returns so hopefully we will make a really good acquisition or two and get that cash working for us.

Just be patient, share investing is a multi year game. You’ll get your interims and year end results every 6 months plus update on material changes of significance. Let the BOD run the company. Next update will show revenue targets are not going to be achieved (Recession) but potentially losses significantly reduced. Share has all the negatives baked in but not likely to rise much above current price unless there are upside surprises but seems unlikely looking at peer retailers. Longer term it’s a fairly good business and once growth happens and it gets to break even it will as quickly north of 160p as it fell. Share holder actions group to do what exactly - Best just sell and move on if you can’t wait a couple of years.

I really can’t see the estimated annual revenue growth of 20 / 22% being a reality. I’ve no idea but suspect 10%. The losses in last results were significantly reduced but still included a lot of one offs from acquisitions. So I think revenue below expectations and bottom line above consensus views. (We need to cash cow on the investments and show they are smart). Regarding Ingenuity, it’s seems to have stalled and not the high growth division as sold on the tin at all. I think per the press updates a fair take out in this current and future environment would be 200p to 250p (Rumours are MM might bid 250p months back). We know 170p pushed away as an insult. I therefore conclude that anything under 150p is ridiculously cheap and I cannot begin to understand how we can trade under 100p on bad day. Is there some sort of fraudulent bomb we don’t know about or will we see a huge re rating in our next results?

Other countries Domino Pizzas do well especially in the colder climates like we are across Eastern Europe and with Poland kindly accepting so many Ukrainians in their hour of need etc. Looks like we will fly. I note especially they say in not so many words this their last trading update “recent trading statements”

This could turn into a value trap, we know we have a loss coming and global recession especially in UK . So results could continue to get worse, fixed costs not covered, Labour costs rise due to inflation, so PBT loses increase for more than 1 year. So no reasons to invest until an upturn becomes evident. (Many crushed companies like this).

It’s was on Bloomberg and it was a draft US senator trying to get it into law. The lobbyist like big tobacco often get them watered down or blocked. It was perhaps enough to cause a little tree shake. This is one of my holdings where I’m pretty immoral frankly. I hate being near smokers and smoking, had a couple of older folks I liked die early from emphysema thru smoking. However I like the dividends and think IMB will likely rise steadily in its SP (Being very open and frank here).
