Guys why do we get so angry regards a sale, a JV, or production? It's just a persons opinion.
Most are quite interesting, it just gets silly when we argue about it, everyone knows everyone elses opinion, we don't have to keep ramming it home,

Maybe Quady is right and it's all about the diverse book, or maybe like most suggest, they are just waiting for at least the pFS and are happy to pay more for peace of mind and good corporate practice.

I get the bit about a high offer, but way would a low offer, not taken seriously, impede a later offer, would that not in itself set a floor, and what's to stop them then upping their offer like you would have in any conventional auction .
BHP put in a cheeky low offer a few years back.

Let's not forget we went down to 12p in march and hovered around 25p for much of the summer. A commentator not connected to solg like we all are would say the SP has had a fantastic run. Keep it in context

I wanted to hear from the corporate experts on here,as to why it's a disadvantage to bid first as a lot of poster suggest.

I often hear it said that no-one wants to make the first bid or show their hand.
Can someone explain why this is?

There have been some disputes between solg and cornerstone in recent times, to say the least.
Unfortunately for us cornerstone seems to be right more often than not.
They disputed our claim over ownership of Bianca
They were right we were wrong.
They disputed our corporate governance.
They were right again.
Now they say they can use their stake in cascabel to raise funds
Solg says they cant.
Who's your money on being right?

Probably would have already happened if Nick did not make the massive board changes in record time. I think that was a bit embarrassing for them

Another thing, cornerstone have been proved right with some of their accusations.
Corporate governance at solg was beefed up straight away after the accusations.
They gave far more accurate information about when the PFS was coming out. This was inside information being retained like they suggested.

Did anyone ever find out why the official bid took so long in the end?
And what was the nonsense with the translation into French?
I know I'm having a bit of a moan today but adding all things up, are they incompetent, do they take us for fools or is this really some great strategy?

We have been watching the presentations for years now.
Nick telling us this would happen, then that would happen.
We have got excited and dreamed of the future. Each one finished off with a timeline we can all easily see the path ahead.
Trouble is, its nonsense. Because Time and again just as it's about to happen, they change it.
I have not voted yet, not sure I will bother.

I think the SP is rising purely because the wider market is having a very good day. Nothing to do with the RNS imo
