Got on board some time ago on the Paddington Bear news then built a further holding with news of dinosaurs and Marwell Zoo. Asked the granddaughter (8) and grandson (10) during Easter hols if they had heard of KPop. I received the usual roll of the eyes and a brief report on the obvious popularity and attraction of the "groups". Only minor critical comment from granddaughter was that their outfits tended to be "inappropriate"! Hold and add as and when was my conclusion: "inappropriate" to some has always been "big attraction" to the masses in my experience. GLA HAGW
No chance RNS Monday morning: earliest possibility is Tuesday 2.30 BST to allow USA punters an equal chance of jumping on board. Alternatively 2.30 BST Wednesday which will give us time to scrutinize all BB contributions before next weekend which is nearer to Whitsun and Half-Term which is historically the time for SPs to soar heavenwards. Mrs M still banging on about it was 223p and I told you to sell and take me to the Maldives but you all think you are so clever and said it would be all right my drear cos the clever people said this is going to £10; errm from 25p: dream on Oh Master!
And I wonder if you would call me a liar and bulls*****r to my face Thomas Girds: still holding from 1.95p by the way : check the contract note again.....and inside leg still the same.
Wouldn't want to be out of this over the weekend with another RNS due. Please try harder Thomas Girds: if you can get us back to 1.95p I can load up with another tranche.
All the best: your "lie through the teeth" "bull*******g" BB person contributor.
ps: Sorry to be a doubter too but think I'll hold for the moment. GLALTHs
Andy: an interesting post. It reminds me of why I was attracted to SNG in the first place - and it was nothing to do with the Chinese Plague. Having worked with elite young athletes throughout my career I was aware of the scourge of COPD in all its various guises, its affect on performance, and the seemingly haphazard means by which the various manifestations were "treated". This was usually akin to the "treatment" for the common cold: take this, or that, or the other then go away and wait til it wears off. Coming up for my fourth (or is it fifth) "booster" jab I get the feeling I have been taken for a ride over the last two years and regardless of "Covid" the cases of COPD, anecdotally, are rifer than ever. From what I read as a complete layman, and also what I learned from this BB, SNG had something to offer which could bring help to many. I still hope this to be the case and wish someone would get a grip, get on with it, and that those on here who are interested in 26.3p, or 23.6p, or 36.2p would go to BetFred. (Not my usual Friday contribution, I admit!) ATB to ALTHs
Nor me sat, especially with RNS due at 2.30 on Tues when USA open so they have a fair chance of getting on board, and that will give us Wed Thur and Fri to study the results and to get to the bank to amass funds for another top up after the WebinAir which I hear RM is recording for Inv Chron. Mrs M has sent off for yet another Ann Summers Catalogue. Amazing how the technology changes! ATB GLALTHs Back to 37p and we can retrieve our original stakes.
Thomas Girds: grammar needs attention but a reasoned statement. Trust like me you will chuck in a few quid. Investment and gardening go together I find. Once the potatoes are chitting nicely, invest in some good horse s**t, plant, and reap a harvest. There seem to be some on here who would dump chitting potatoes then complain when they have nothing to harvest. With that view of investment Mrs M and I would still be in our council flat and walking to the allotment rather than instructing the gardeners from our balcony. AEATB. Trust you received the apology as requested a few posts ago.
Hooray! I'm all for stumping up a bit more cash for a growing concern. It's called progress and pays dividends in the future. I don't invest for instant satisfaction : I get that elsewhere.
(Yes; it is me Thomas Girds: you know - the one you accused of lying through my teeth and being a b********er. Still holding my 1.95p for which I sent you the contract note and later toppings up so very happy with today. ATB.)
I agree: certainly not the weekend to be out of this and certainly not for those still here. But I disagree with Monday 7am, sat. From all my experience of the last err how long? RNS will be Tuesday at 2.30 - an intraday rns no less - so that punters in the USA have an equal chance of jumping on board as the news breaks. Or Wednesday 2.30 BST to give punters the time to absorb and digest the results before the next week-end. And that might mean the May Day Bank Holiday Monday weekend so I wouldn't want to be out for that and is that Labour Day in the USA so the Tuesday after that Monday would be ideal to release a bombshell RNS. (Phew, Mrs M gone now but most impressed with my analysis so bottoms up!) GLAVVLTHs
"Just admit it"! I admitted I got in at 1.95 Thomas (Girds) and was told by you that I lied through my teeth and was a bullsh****r. Trust you read John Chapt 20....... Now suggest you try Matthew 26. Well worth it for 30 pieces of silver which you could donate to a charity of your choice: but no guesses as to who the beneficiary would be. Onwards and upwards as Nigel recommends. xxx
Mystery to me too JD : but learnt not to ask too many questions: just sit tight. Got in at 1.95p, reached 11p with grandson(8) shouting sell Grandad sell. But cognoscenti said 20p here we come. Been downhill all the way since! Grandson banging on frequently not to mention Mrs M. daily. Looking to gain revenge after RNS but all quite underwhelming.
And yes, Thomas Girdz from most BBs who accuses me of lying through my teeth and talking bull***t I will send you the contract note, inside leg measurement and copy of John 20 verse 20-29 yet again.
One day JD we will understand but probably better not to try just DYOR and prosper. GLTY and Yours.
I believe in the trade it's FOMO. ATB and GLALTHs.
Well said Narada and my thanks also to you R Banker. Long may rationality continue. First jumped on at 7p ish when attracted by Paddington Bear and have followed the story ever since bolstered by many sage comments on the unfolding story. Encouraged also by my chief advisers aged 12yrs, 10yrs and 8yrs who have acquainted me with the KPOP mystery according to mejia channels, personnel and "inappropriate" costumes which "very revealing" ( IMO Emily). Sounds like a winner to my aged ears and a possible addition to my advisers inheritance fund. ATB to ALTHs
Best wishes BJW. They were happy days back when before the fall. Those who cling on may yet meet in happier times and we know where to rock up. To start a list of recommendations for "meet and greet" to follow PB might I suggest Francis Rossi - straight down the line and tells it as it is and was: a dying breed who brought pleasure to many but now force fed with unutterable garbage from the so called celeb set and even here now the BB "commentators". Wish I had got out of this many weekends ago but FOMO (sic) rather than Mrs M ruled. Further in debt now because I had to buy up the latest Ann Summers outfits and equipment in order to pretend I was back at 223p ps. Not sure I will now get back to 37p and retrieve my original stake but thankfully LVCG looking good and dinosaurs are more attractive than bugs so ever hopeful. ATB GLALTHs MBMLP so bottoms up.
Watched "Jaws" at home on TV recently : interesting bits of action. Last saw it in the cinema: jumped out of my seat as did the rest of the audience and didn't dare have a bath for weeks. Same with "Psycho" - still leave a gap in the shower curtain to see if door opens. Errrm I agree Bonks : no brainer. Tend not to watch "movies" on my iPad or Fone either - doesn't quite have the je ne sais quoi. Don't suspect people will sit at home watching Glastonbury 2022 on their fones or TV even if the weather is even more inclement than the warmth of the cinema. ATB DYOR GLALTHs
Bonk 1 - Aldi 0 IMHO : not much fun at home on sofa watching movie on TV with Mrs M coming and going. But nice warm cinema, popcorn, then out for a nightcap before long dark country lane home to friend's house before home for Horlicks.
Very satisfying evening as far as I am concerned so holding. ATB GLALTHs
Wacca. Typo….apols.
No such luck Wicca. ATB
Hmm: perhaps I am not as rich as Barclays and have less hair JS but if the SP is about to soar as we are assured by many then I think even Mr Barclay would hold on a bit longer. But I am a simpleton mebbe in my dotage. Not trying to "deramp" - learnt that term recently - but very curious: and yes, I do have a holding.
