Many thanks Th....looking forward to the weekend for the explanation. Please make it simple so I can pass on to Mrs M.

"Substantial revenues from fewer customers often generate larger profits through economies of scale......"
ATB jd : just trying to say that substantial revenues from richer and more extensive customers could generate even larger profits.....but I think we agree on the direction of travel for ITX. Never been an FD but do understand that when EBIT2 and SP2 are larger than EBIT1 and SP1 I can make Mrs M happy. Looking forward to taking a bit of profit this time next year - but might have to be earlier since the BBC declare the end of the world is at hand! GLALTHs
Interesting comment jdz: VLTH and still here precisely because new orders and new markets are coming in. Indeed, have sold elsewhere in order to top up ITX because two other holdings showed absolutely no increase in market, revenue, orders and therefore not a great expectation of an SP increase between now and 2025. And as a LTH I find it best not to react to a price change between 0801 o'clock hours and half past four: bit of a Buffet man meself so keep news coming Th - makes for interesting reading. ATB
Can't help I'm afraid opu. Been a holder since I were a lad and just popped to the BB for a rare visit in hope of some insight or development: in absence of either will continue to hold, take profit in due course, get back in, take profit again, all based on vagaries of the seemingly random movements of the SP and with little regard to economic orthodoxy. You have to agree the strategy has been pretty consistently inconsistent over the last 10+years (or is it 20+ now).
Very inscrutable, as befits such an enterprise! ATB to ALTHs.
Morning Woody. Thanks for the most sensible piece I have read in a long time. Very sound analysis. ATB
Mrs M is a very simple person who asks pertinent questions: eg Monty, you paid this Co £1.75 so that they could run a test; the SP went from 223p to near f/a because the Co f/ed up but you have no explanation as to why, who, where or what from the people who are paid to do the job; and you now tell me it is exciting because they are going to pay someone lots of our money to write about why it all went t**s up: please could I have my housekeeping money now for next month and please can I have back my £1.75 per share now which was a loan until the SP went to £5 per share like you said that clever broker man said: so he doesn't seem to know much about it either. I would be embarrassed if it was me.
Oh, go back into the kitchen my drear....leave it to us chaps who understand these things.....................
Gosh; trust you didn't fall for it Thomas. That was the year of the General Election in India I recall and John Thomas won Love Island: in 2005 Barclays were c£5. As JMK said: "Bygones are bygones". Do you work for the BBC? "We are doomed; life will be solitary, poore, nasty, brutish and short". On the other hand.......by 2023...........bids could be 4p - a nice increase on 1.95p and with a fund raise and shrewd use of funds then by 2024 it could be 5p. Mrs M very satisfied with progress. ATB and GLALTHs Off for aperitif and to enjoy climate change i.e what we used to call summertime.
Didn't buy today Bz : been promised 1.95 again soon by Girdsy et al but it just doesn't seem to happen. Beginning to lose patience. Mrs M frustrated too but that's not unusual. ATB
Hmmm: but 3x what it was 12/20! As Mrs M appreciates this is not one for a quick in and out. GLALTHs
And again, Nom: a very interesting read. I will continue to follow and attempt to persuade Mrs M that a further top-up is in order.
Many thanks nom: and also for your consideration. I do get very weary after one page but will get Mrs M to finish the article and explain the difficult bits! ATB
Oh no; still not 1.95 as promised by the cognoscenti: Mrs M disappointed again.
Newbie to this BB but very grateful for the contributions: a very different tone from another I visit occasionally thank goodness. I have increased my holding (modest!) since first discovering PHC and all seems to make very good sense and look forward to your further observations. I know nothing of the science but have experience of potato and tomato blight so anything that protects and increases yields in crops gets my vote!
Getting very tedious now with Mrs M pestering me to add more of her housekeeping allowance at 1.95 and having to keep telling her that the SP has gone the wrong way -again. She is beginning to doubt the deep analysis of the more regular posters whose words I pass on with reverence and she now wonders who they are to have such apparent insight to the inner workings of the BOD. She finds it strange that someone can make up a name or two and post scathing messages on a BB with no accountability whatsoever. Makes it about as useful as Tik Tok and the BBC she forthrightly remarked.
Appreciated AJP: all for keeping expectations under control: it tends to filter out the excitable easy money cowboys and avoids a repeat of the silly roller-coaster days of yore. This is one for the sane, sensible, mature investor with ready funds to keep popping in and holding. Quatorze Juillet but never see the point of fireworks myself and certainly get the feeling that those at ITX feel the same. Rather the tortoise than the hare to mix in another metaphor and suspect that it is the grandson who will reap the greatest benefit though might take a cut this time next year! ATB
You'll soon get the hang of it JD! Quite recent to BBs which I thought might be interesting and even helpful: so far learned about pumping, dumping, spiking, trading, MMs, ramping, deramping, and often a level of vitriol reflecting contributions akin to the a**e end of society. Nevertheless, worth persevering and tuning in for thoughts of the like of AJP, Sminv and others. ATB to ALTHs. ITX is not one for the Smart Alecs and Del Boys imho.
Ooh No! Just seen the closing price! Where's Girdsy cos I need to explain to Mrs M why she still can't load up another tranche at 1.95p. Sometimes you just can't believe a word some people post on BBs. Oh well, ATB and GLALTHs.
Any ideas on when "shortly" might arrive Dr and the brakes come off?
Thank goodness no great increase in SP Girdy: need the SP to plummet so I can add to my 1.95p tranche but it just keeps going up. Mrs M beginning to doubt your sagacity but have assured her that despite all the good news you above all know best and that before long the SP will be below 2p so we will take all profits elsewhere in order to get in again on the ground floor. Really grateful for your contributions to the BB which offer a valuable and unique perspective. ATB DYOR
You could be right, Manny: a strong finish by the look of it. If we get to 37p I will be able to return Mrs M's Life Savings which is not quite the £5 I advised but I am sure that she will understand that the vagaries of the market and sheer incompetence of many men in suits mean that nothing is guaranteed. Given up on my later contribution to the placing: but as you say: One Day!! I've put a roof on the pig-sty so if they ever fly I'll send you a chop or two. ATB and AOLTHs
