The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
1. Write a letter of resignation.
2. Give as much money as possible back to those who lent the money for the ****ed-up trial by sacking whoever failed to spot the victims were also on steroids : which work quite well.
3. Beg a request for an interview with the scientific advisor of a reliable well run company with similar interests for someone to attend who actually knows it works and understands why and how.
4. Advertise the job of CEO of a minor pharma company and elect an interview panel to read cvs and appoint.
Pretty basic in Mrs M's experience she opines. ATB to ALTHs and Happy Christmas.
It must be exceedingly tedious to be flying here and there, arranging this and that, meeting, signing, planning, and making quite important decisions to have tin-pot punters who are out for the main chance or a quickie % to be badgering about why not just a soshul mejia tweet wot I reed every day, or how much do we get from that, or how much are we paying this K-Pop bloke. Put your money in, let people get on with the job, or take your money and go somewhere else. With such a philosophy Mrs M has been kept quite happily in the manner to which she has become accustomed and by H2 2023 might be even more accustomed I suggest. ATB to ALTHs and Happy Christmas Paddington.
Looking forward to bubbly for breakfast by 2023 Tin tin. ATB.
Apologies: " at end of final sentence. ATB ALTHs
Oh no; will now have to face Mrs M: having reported that the deep thinkers and analysts of the Co have stated that StartArt is a fiddle, DC is an unmentionable **** with the thought only of feathering his own nest, that K-Pop was cancelled to save the Co not as a mark of respect, and all this e-stuff and dinosaurs where's the money in that!
Actually, when I did mention those conclusions of the cognescenti she used a word she rarely uses, said "you just buy me some more to add to our collection: the grandchildren love Paddington, and K-Pop and know all about e-stuff. Very best wishes to ALTHs and Happy New Year.
Girdsy, our Guru; do you mean that we are going back to 1.95p? Mrs M needs to know if she should cash in her Premium Bonds to be ready for another tranch at sub 2p. Quick yes or no will do; no need for in depth analysis: it just confuses her. ATB
Ooh, dammit, Girdsy, but you are so shrewd. Explains why Mrs M has been on the phone all morning. No chance of the ground floor now the punters know that she is in the market. ATB DYOR GLALTH.
Jabba; don't be so unkind to Girdsy: I am sure that under his somewhat harsh miserable public persona there is a deep sense of humour and fair play. Live and let live.....ATB
Yes, I do Sloane: and even Mrs M has now given up waiting for Thomas Girdsy's unreliably predicted return to 1.95p so has taken another slice (I'll send you the contract note Girdsy as I would not like you to think that I am yet again "lying through my teeth" on behalf of Mrs M - still shiny, all there and no gaps! (That's my teeth by the way, not Mrs M.) And thanks for the info Jabba: an interesting read. Now looking forward to post footy World Cup and Christmas reports in 5-6 months or so. I have found a sixth month view rather more lucrative than a six minute one so keep the good news coming. ATB to LTHs
Many thanks Shaky. An interesting read: reason I am here and holding thanks to grandchildren! Much more valuable to listen to them and read your link than the "up we go oh no we don't oh yes we will by Christmas oh no that's what you said last year" drivel. ATB
Deepest apologies 77: on which particular point are you not clear. I would loathe to be misinterpreted but have to say rambling is a favourite activity of mine...and Mrs M. We try not to tread too heavily in order to save the planet. ATB and ALTHs
With the utmost respect for your scholarship I feel we need to separate causes of inflation with which you are clearly familiar: the use of the term "spiralling" might be appropriate when we reach 13% - quite familiar with those of a recent generation and have never been too sure about the relationship between the rate of interest and the price of oil or gas, major components of "the rate of inflation". And by reference to the 2nd Ukraine "invasion" I presume you refer back to the first one in 1848. ATB and to all LTHs who will be strengthened in their resolve by this "debate". Cleaning fluids are essential items and I do agree fairly immune to the first, second or even third Ukraine invasion. And the pain inflicted by central bankers who wouldn't know a cleaning fluid from an environmentally friendly shampoo.
Reckless, painful, clueless, flooded, spiralling, idiots: so DD your considered solution would be to......and to have avoided Covid, the invasion of Ukraine and the closing of pits, nuclear power NS oil and gas in favour of windmills would have been to.......do tell: or let us know when your erudite History of the British Economy 2019-2023 will be published. ATB
No No; I've read the BB: surely going to Uranus ........................
Juicy low hanging short fruit of key headwinds with target date after due diligence non-binding with a final short defense (sic) lurking notoriously with dry powder hoping for a short sharp liquid ramp up. Hmmm, I'll explain you later Mrs M but these clever people know what it means which is why they are all very successful and earn loadsa money .
I'm pleased we invested ours safely.
"Promoting your business" aka In-depth Conference Exchange of Card Meetings on Expenses aka paid for by someone else; face to face very important consultations and really hard work, testing, meeting of great (sic) minds, and then home for Christmas, New Year, End of Term for sprogs, and prepare intensive update figures for 2023 and enjoy warm spring-like weather in Southampton (D.V.) before the Conference season at home. Copy of the Conference Speech could be good - trust it includes the bit about the complete errrm f UK up not noticing that people were on steroids and doing nicely.
Very wet and windy in Southampton and nights closing in with temperature dropping. Good to have a Conference or two to go to in warmer climes and catch up with the news of those met at the last one. Mrs M wishing that she had kept her 175ps so she still had it to take her own warm weather break having been led to believe that the funds were necessary for continued research into chronic respiratory disease. I tend to agree!
So pleased that shrewd Thomas Girds persuaded Mrs M that we were going back to 1.95p for all those weeks. She might have been persuaded to sell and take a bit of profit at 3p. Fortunately good sense prevailed as more and more good news filtered through. She doesn't know a RNS from a TRI but observes the ways in which the grandchildren (and their father!) spend their time and says thank you to those on here who have offered sound insights to the prospects for BIDS in the gaming-world. She is looking forward to the Ann Summers Winter Catalogue. (Me too). Well done ALTHs.
And bringing much happiness into people's lives including us lths. All sound sense to me 212 and 10. ATB
When I put my hard earned cash into a company I quite enjoy being updated about what is going on. Sounds as if there's lots of fun things for families to do over the half-term and coming Christmas holiday. Thank you for the RNS all concerned.
