agreed. The LSE is really toothless when it comes to this kind of thing. Regarding price it will probably be as you say circa 2.90 but in my view that would be a shafting of epic proportions..

The price was over £4 back in 2011. What has changed since then to make it worth less that that today?

So Russians including the state control over 50% of the company and as you say there has been no new drilling and no comment from BOD on strategy. Does anyone else here smell a rat? Do not want to be negative but it seems to me that they are waiting for the right time to put a low ball bid in and £2.89-£2.90 is a low ball bid if thats what it ends up being as this business has to be worth in excess of £5.00

Regarding previous posts i reallly hope we all make a good profit here. My only concern is that we are dealing with Oligarchs and they play by different rules as we have all seen before and small shareholders end up losing out. hope i am wrong as i have alot invested. A price of 2.80 still significantly undervalues the business given its vast reserves and current price of oil. They need to ramp up production and if the infrastructure is there why are they not doing so? because that will increase revenues and profits and hence the price they will have to pay for it. Khotin et all paid 3.77 less than a year ago and so any bid by his company before a year is up must be at a minimum of 3.77 which is why i think they are playing a waiting game. Great to see the price moving up and lets hope it continues like this.

small shareholders get screwed is my guess. No integrity here. no normal corporate governance as its in russia and they ignore the rules of international business when its suits them but happy to take our money to help them get started up. We should all know better i guess but then greed takes over!! . I will never invest in Russia again. lesson learnt. rant over!

Price moving up although we have seen this happen before only for it to fall back. One thing that is undeniable is the vast reserves they are sitting on. If they can increase production to say 40000 barrels a day over time which i know would require a significant infrastructure spend then based on current results and margins they would be at circa sales of 712million and profits of circa 87million. This would value the business at circa 1.3billion i think or over £5 per share.

Unclear why Khotin would pay 370 for 30% if the true valuation is only 270/280 unless he wants to buy the rest cheaply once he has control. Seems to me he beileves it is worth alot more than what he paid for it and i think it is. we shall see!!

Anyone think that us small shareholders will end up getting stitched up when the majority shareholders offer us a take it or leave it low ball price. the 377p paid by Khotion et al for circa 30% means they have to wait a year before they can bid again at a lower price. the clock is ticking. Its a great value business but just feel we will end up getting well below its true value. hope i am wrong.

Invested on a tip from a friend who seemed to know something. Stupid as the Sp was 100 then but bought more at 40 and even that looks foolish now but fingers crossed this friend !!! turns out to be right.

Agreed that alot of selling going on but unless there is something we do not know this is a really solid business with great growth potential. Huge house & road building program being rolled out which all need lots of what breedon produces. I buying on the dips. This should go to 50p and beyond. Hope they start paying a divi soon.
