i would take 25% over current SP but 40% is great if it happens! Something is definitely afoot!! Who do you think it will be Astra, GSK ???
Bullish broker forecasts for circa £8+. Think it will be bought soon for alot more?
hope Finn Cap, Oriel and Singer keep these negative forecasts coming in as its helping the SP rise!!! Guess they must be looking at a different BTG than the rest of us or else they are just stupid. My best investment by a mile.
Now trading at a discount to NAV of over 20%. Close to its low for the year. Is this now the time to dive in again as returns tend to be very good both in divi and tender offers. I see they took a big hit on one investment of nearly £3million but overall looks sound?? Any thoughts
Good news but not sure why? Any thoughts?
Does this make GKO less attractive as oil becomes a cheaper alternative than when it was at $100+?
Beware Finn Cap and Singer as their forecasts are not worth a s..t. Look at BTG if you want any proof.
Bought in at 6.5 and now 5 . will it go down more? Believe it will come back but where is the floor, 1p?
Over reaction as results not that bad and much of the new business decline is because they have sold businesses and so it is to be expected. Full year results and the return of the divi will set this heading up.
is this just the knock on effect of general retail bounce eg M&S or anything special happening with ALY?
any reason for the big rise today, keep it goin!!
i guess an email to the russian finance ministry for the attention of the minister would at least draw their attention to it though i doubt they would act on it . Given the current isolationist mood in Russia they might even applaud their actions!
big rise , anyone heard anything?
|Excellent analysis and unfortunately you are probably right on the price. Anything we can do to draw attention to this to a wider audience which would probably make no difference to the price but it might cause some bad publicity for Russian business and put off others from investing there in future. there was the Sibir energy scandal a few years ago and small investors got screwed here as well. Might make a good case analysis for anyone wanting to publish in a well known business publication about the perils of investing in Russia!
agreed and i would guess somewhere around £9 ish
Anyone heard anything as seems to be going against the market trend today?
anyone know why recent steep decline???
refer to prior blog. Markets well up today but Merlin down? Anyone know why this one seems to move against the general market trend?
Read that Saudi has the lowest 'lift cost' at $4 per barrel if this makes sense. If correct how would this compare to EXI cost if known. Afren and Cairn being hammered by falling oil price and the ' lift cost' for off shore will be considerably higher than onshore like Saudi but someone on a different blog thinks it costs Afren $80 a barrel which sound way OTT to me. Any thoughts Gambier. Thanks
every time i top up it goes down more!!!
