The great thing with LetsExplore is that after they star rolling it out to the US there is no reason why they cannot the role it out to the rest of the world . Plenty of time to get things organised for next Christmas. Then there is more content to add and sell going forward.
On top of this they were only just getting going of the attractions in venues such as aquariums and theme parks. There were also just looking to expand into science museums and alike.
This is a holdings that has so much potential to keep growing.

Numis boosted Dunelm with an upgrade to “buy” from “add” but the broker trimmed its price target from £17 to £16.50
Results next week, so they should provide us with more details of the impact of the current lockdown.

We may not need to wait until April, it is the AGM next week so we should get an update at that as to how things are going.

I have asked and they just refer back to the Nov 2019 announcement as the previous guidance (even though this is not at all clear what the guidance actually is!). I may be being naive, but I took the CFO, who has been with the firm a long time, buying a couple of times late last year as a sign that they believe it will be manageable (which is also what they said at the time).
In an interview just after the announcement, JN (the outgoing CEO) seemed very surprised that there was an issue at all. H&T has only been mentioned on debt camel once or twice since 2019. Other than some initial costs they are not planning on putting any provisions into last years accounts for this . I get the impression that we will not hear for a while yet.
Without the review hanging over it I am sure that the sp would be higher. I guess you could hedge your bets, get some now and then top up later (probably at a higher price) once things are more clear.

Rather scant on detail, but revenue in H2 must have been around 30M which is almost 100% up on H1 and similar to last year even with the disruption in most of their markets.

Hi FK. I did well on SDL, then jumped back into this a little too early, nicely in the blue now though.
I underestimated the shakeout of SDL shares held by II's with it moving from FTSE to AIM. I thought that they would all be out soon after the index change but in retrospect I realise that is only those held by trackers. There are lots that are held in funds that are not allowed to be held in AIM stocks and these appear to have been more gradually sold down (at least this is my interpretation)
It looks like your timing may have been a bit better. I have made this a core holding as I can see the potential for lots of upside for the next few years.

It looks like the II's that were selling, probably due to loss of FTSE status, are done and we have seen a nice rerate. Plenty of scope for further upside going forward.
The AGM is in a couple of weeks so we should get an update of how thins are going then.

SDL certainly seems to be going well with another strategic partnership recently announced .

Since December HMRC have first dibs at the money pot, we know that HMRC works closely Mano. There will be plenty of work going forward and Mano will be well placed to pick it up.

Well that was a nice opportunity to pick some up under 200. Its not going to go bust and things will improve for them over the next year. Odd never thought of this as a 'covid recovery stock'

Possibly, retail jewellery will have done well but typically Ramsdens has more weighting in its revenues to fx than HAT.
Both will take a year or two to fully recover but offer good long term prospects. Numis has HAT's revenues at just under 2019's in two years, I think that this is rather conservative as HAT expanded a lot towards the end of that period, although its loan business is likely to be more restrained going forward than at that time.

'Following stronger than anticipated November and December trading, despite lockdown measures, H&T expects the full-year profit before tax to be ahead of market expectations.'
Pledge book has now stopped reducing which is good.
Net cash is up 4M over the two months since the Nov trading update.
Lots of potential for HT to recovery quickly over the next year.

The last sentence sounds encouraging....

They have almost doubled the size of their software team this year. Comments such as 'We will also be looking forward to another year of growth, change and challenges (of the more positive variety). We expect to see further growth in the development team to support our new and exciting product development' lend support to things going well.
Results towards the end of next month will hopefully give the sp a boost.

With a 15p discount to current market price it will be rather popular. I think this is actually more than I paid for the shares in the last placing in April!

It is going to be interesting to see how nex have fared over the past couple of months. They had two scenarios , one with 70% recovery of numbers and the other with 60%. Things had been looking close to the former at the end of the summer but looking at data on public usage here and in Spain it looks to be nearer to 60% now.
Not sure how Morocco is getting on, they have had curfews and lockdowns (and recent flooding) but I think that buses are still running and covid cases are falling quickly.
They have quite a few jobs going in the US (including 300 driver positions) , not sure if this is good - they are running buses- or bad they struggle to find drivers....

Along the same lines, from various sources-

The incoming administration is calling on Congress to approve emergency aid for transportation programs as part of a $1.9 trillion pandemic relief package.
This would include $45 billion to the Department of Transportation, of which $14 billion is for mass transit, and $2 billion for the motor coach, passenger vehicle and private school bus industries (note they were originally asking for $8B for these last three groups)
This relief will keep agencies from laying off transit workers and cutting the routes that essential workers rely on every day while making these transit systems more resilient.
Additionally, the plan would dedicate $130 billion for school reopenings. One component of this is that it would help fund efforts to increase transportation capacity for bus access to facilitate social distancing on the bus.
So it does seem that there is the potential for extra support which could be of benefit to NEX but it is hard to gauge exactly what it is worth.

Nex's 2009 problems were caused (at least in part) by problems with the East Coast Mainline-
'This morning, National Express Group has announced that they will not provide the further financial support necessary to ensure that their subsidiary, National Express East Coast, remains solvent. As a consequence, National Express East Coast is no longer able to continue its franchise agreement to its full term'
This excluded them from further contracts.
There was a lot of talk about mergers with First Group or Stagecoach and it was being heavily shorted.
What changed? Well Dean Finch was appointed CEO and they moved away from any involvement with railways (except now in Germany).
Lets hope, that once again with a new CEO, we are on track for another 10+ years of growth

I have had this on my watch list since the Autumn, I think that this is now a good entry point so I am in. The large volume yesterday has hopefully cleared the seller out ( LG? ).
The presentation by the CEO in November was convincing and he has invested at both 30p and more recently 20p.
We will see when they release a trading update next month!
