Following a link on advfn bb (thanks bennywin)- It seems they have them installed in the NHS. The conference is quite high profile with some big name speakers, so it should get them plenty of publicity.

There is at least one other UK company in the same space - Genesis Advance also do UV sterilisation for the NHS although I don't think that they make cabinets .

I think that it is sinking in, that if they can get this revenue from a single research contract, just what the potential is with multiple research contracts.

There was a $10M break fee for the deal so I guess RSG will have pay this out if they cannot sell to Chifeng.

It looks like they will need to find another purchaser for the price to return where it was-

It is much better news for the company than not having the lease but they will either need to find the money to develop the site or find someone the Ghanaians are happy to take it over.
The company have been able to push out the timeline for needed the funding for the second underground mine in Mali so they do have some leeway to be able to sort this all out.

Government now confirmed May 17th for English Uni's to return according to BBC.
The article also confirms my anecdotal observations that many students have returned anyway-
'Even without in-person teaching, many students seem to have gone back to their university accommodation - with a survey from the Higher Education Policy Institute suggesting about two thirds of students had been in their term-time addresses.'

It will be interesting to watch any share price movement between 9.30 and 11.00, anything beyond 'normal' (either way) will not go down well. I know that they cannot not give new/different information , but there are often hints/indications in the Q&A's sessions that allow one to gain further insight.

The maths is sound, but- you are assuming the false positives are random events. It could, however be that it is a cross reaction with another viral /bacterial protein. If so you could take multiple tests and keep getting false positives.

I posted on this yesterday- the actual number is 8010 false positives to date - so that is 8007 others, after knocking of the 3 you friend had......

I thought that they would be going back. So saying, nearly every student I know has now returned. I wonder if UTG will extend the discount again?

The government has removed LFT results where they have been followed up by a subsequent negative PCR. What is not clear is what percentage this is of the total number of positive/negative LFT results. It does shows that the numbers, being suggested by some, of 10's thousands of false positives a day were an extreme over estimate. It also demonstrates that, provided it has the sensitivity, then Avacta's test with higher specificity will offer a clear advantage.

Interesting rotation into the larger cap growth stocks this week. This, RTO, Aveva (which I also had been building up a holding) along with the likes of Halma and Experian all seem to be going well.

I don't blame them. The Range near me has been open, selling homeware, just because it has a 2m x20m Iceland frozen food section.

They have increased their inventories from £166M to £193M since December (they cite FY20 Q3: £147m), so if I am understanding it correctly, they may not have made a loss at all.

It looks like they lost about £20M in the quarter so the analysts were not too far off.
I am happy with that, especially as they say 'we expect to end the year modestly ahead of the top of the current range of analyst expectations' (so PBT >£125M).

That seems a reasonable approach and not that dissimilar to mine. I do have some long term 'holds' that I add to or sell depending upon their price but still keep a reasonable holding for the longer term. These tend to be 'growth' type shares, I feel that RWS fits into this bracket, along with RTO, the latter has been a good one for me over quite a few years.
I have some small caps that I hope will be multi baggers which I try and sit on long term, then others that are purely intended as a shorter term hold until the price reaches a level to sell at. Due to covid there have been many, many, more of the latter in the past year. I have however, found it hard at times to sell some good companies that I am well up on, just to move to the next opportunity!
