The rare horny toed speckle frog has laid eggs on the output valve of the well. The EMA has required TXP to commission a study concerning the impact of opening the valve, and thereafter must submit an application for approval.
It will likely be easier and quicker to simply let the eggs hatch into butterflies and fly away.
Paul doesn’t want to post this development on social media because he doesn’t need the additional headache of greenpeace idiots chaining themselves to various pieces of TXP equipment protesting to save the frogs (which are doing just fine without being saved).
No need to worry though, the delay time is being used to give refresher courses in sensitivity training to all TXP employees and subcontractors. We’re making the world a better one small step at a time.
Meanwhile, in other news, spot electricity hit 10 nok/ kWh today, which is over 50 times more expensive than it has historically been for decades. A solar installation would pay for itself in a couple years at these prices.
Go Paul!

Ot certainly does seem like some members of the board are grossly over compensated, not that this is a thing only relevant to TXP. In the future, and options will be at a much higher strike. Just like we bought shares very cheap a few years ago, their options are also quite low priced.
Tubulars was one of the questions I asked in the SHAG document, did not get an answer. They may have considered this too sensitive for various reasons like price negotiations with suppliers, or they don’t want to highlight that they have a big pile (metal theft is a thing in Trinidad). Metal theft is such a thing in Trinidad that the government had a meeting with the metal scrap industry and is considering a stop to all scrap buying now. They’ve been cutting power lines and various things. This happens in many different places in the world, not just Trinidad.

I have to admit I was wrong. I said it was 2 km long, the RNS says it’s only 1.7 km long.
Gas in that puppy before Christmas!
What is a dummy sell or a dummy buy?
Don’t you guys just see the lvl 1 or lvl 2 order book and place your limit order xxxx shares xxxx price online digitally which either becomes part of the book, or gets executed immediately, or a combination of the two? How difficult is this concept?
How can you place a dummy order?
Pretty much what I expected. Not overflowing with cash, but we’ve got enough to see us through, and with Coho coming online any day now we’re in a pretty good position to pull this off.
Think everyone is still asleep ……. Or not even considering there could be any news on a Monday morning.
I feel like I’m dreaming anyways …. Gotten so used to delays and bad news, that things getting completed feels different and makes me tingle.
Pipeline cost was written somewhere, but this may have been a Cascadura oil pipeline with 2-3 million. I remember thinking wow, the pipeline is cheaper than a well.
I believe I have heard a million dollar ish figure for Coho. It is very small diameter, small trench, only 3km Long. Why should it be that expensive? Answer: it’s not. Why should it take so long to build it? Answer: it shouldn’t.
2 is already answered. Will not disclose, will see it in the accounting reported after the fact.
Pretty sure those who sold 30% cheaper last week are feeling like right proper donkey’s. Proper Donkey’s with a huge J.
The flare is not the same flare used during testing, this is a permanent flare. The use for this is an emergency situation where you can not stop flow, and can’t get rid of what comes out via pipeline, you flare it off. It’s nice if the flare ignites when you need it.
Working with Nitrogen in the pipeline should be a matter of hours thing. Same for replacing with low pressure gas. Then they ramp up the pressure to a point where they can open the valve to the main pipeline.
Playing with the well for optimal production, further cleaning up etc, could take a couple weeks …..
That’s what they usually do, just sometimes the bank account number just happens to belong to the dictator or elected officials and not the government ……. Oops.
Several majors have left or cut activity in Norway due to the high tax rate of 78%, so no, they probably shouldn’t mirror that.
I never said the last two years are forgotten. I’m glad the well is now physically connected to the pipeline. Which means the construction phase is over and the tie in completed. That’s what the RNS say, and that’s immensely important for us.
Uhhhh, maybe you don’t understand what the notice says and what it means …… but that’s okay.
I do not need your email. I would ask everyone to please post holdings in individual holdings channel, or send me a PM. This is just to know how many shares we have contact with, and it helps for the company and the BOD to take this seriously. Don’t lie about your holdings.
