RE: Monday SP10 Apr 2021 15:42
The stock has become much more valuable to the big boys after last nights RNS. TBH, I personally don't give a toss what happens to the SP between now and the FSP conclusion (be it full sale or partial sale/JV). Most PI's are in for the end game.
Only traders and shorters are bothered about that, in the main.
Having read the RNS a few times, I still believe in a full sale and that the Japanese are part of a larger consortium (or a consortium of several Asian companies taking up a majority stake). However, there is always the possibility that we sell off MT and WK (two separate sales) for a special dividend, buy the nine licences regain a controlling share in the Kola project (51% with Ros 25% and this Japanese consortium 25%) and reap annual dividends for the foreseeable on a farm-out basis.
If a Japanese consortium out-bid the Chinese (these two countries have a historical rivalry and do not like losing face) it would have to be very big as we know the Chinese are cash-rich from their rapid rise to an economic superpower in the last decade or so.
There are so many options available and the BOD have played a blinder. They are being true to their word - maximising shareholder value and since they have massive skin in the game, what benefits them truly benefits all holders.
My plan is to hold and ignore the day-to day SP, the noise from the green boxes (along with those who crop up that will get binned), add when I can, put up my feet and pop open a bottle of the finest rum.
Have a good weekend all genuine holders.
