One trade so far is what I call a very muted response. The Company needs to improve its IR and get more active marketing to certain social media promoters as that is the best way to get on the radar of more investors. The current strategy is not working from a marketing perspective. More money on IR/marketing should be worth it to get the valuation up.

Indeed, it has momentum and good to see. They could do with a bit more marketing and IR activity but perhaps as the strategic project application and designation moves forward this will be better regarded as a real project to supply European lithium.

Advantages of In-Situ Mining

The environmental advantages are clear, including: minimal noise, dust, or greenhouse gas emissions, along with minimal visual disturbance. In addition, it also lowers capital and operating costs while creating a safer environment for mine workers.

Too bad not all mines can operate without moving a rock.

Case Study: Meteoric Resources (ASX:MEI) – Caldeira Project, Brazil From A$22M To A$480M Market Value

Because it has solid support and will likely get an EU Strategic project designation and can be a low impact low waste deposit.

The EU has set legal targets for 10% of its lithium to be extracted in Europe under the critical raw materials act and Zinnwald is likely to be in pole position. The act came into force yesteday.

As for finance, they are funded to the end of the year and could look to monetise the gold asset if required, it has been something they appear to be thinking about.. There is good news flow planned and the environmental study is already ongoing as they need 12-18 months of data but by end of year this could be a very different looking company.

Rupert showed a chart of Meteoric Resources (ASX: MEI) which went from A$22M to A$480M as they advanced the Caldeira Deposit in Brazil through acquisition, confirmation of ionic leach REES and metalurgy studies. So Cobra has huge potential ahead especially when it could be producing (hypothetical target) 5000t per annum in a shorter timeframe than all other hard rock deposits and aiming for $50/kg profit. It looks like this is what they would be aiming for with a scoping study but that all makes sense given the scale of the project and testwork to date.

Overall, will keep topping up on this and added another 100k shares this morning as it could be a strong winner this year. DYOR. I am just sharing what I heard with my dodgy memory from the presentation.

They have a 140 sq km area of potential mineralisation backed by geophysics and validated by drilling to date within the much larger licence area. The key requirements are grade, scale and potential for ISR and Rupert is sure they have it all. They could be the lowest cost producer outside of China with 10-15% of the OPEX of a hard rock miner. The beauty of ISR also is that it is quicker to permit especially as the ground water is already a brine and useless for agriculture and it is low Capex.

Farmers love the idea of ISR as they can continue farming around the area with the wells and once the ISR injection and recovery wells are finished the land is returned immediately to agricultural with no landform changes. The subsurface brine already there is of no use to anyone so there are no negatives as long as the brine does not escape to surface which is unlikely and the farmers will be able to get some income from the drill holes on their land. Positive community relations were mentioned as you would expect of a professional company.

I attended the Mello presentation yesterday by Rupert and have to say that I was very impressed, he knows his stuff and the proposed ISR method is a game changer. Rupert believes they could be in the lowest cost quartile globally for a REE producer subject to positive leach tests.

They have a well field installed to progress to field pilot test with bench scale ISR testing underway and they have the experience to deliver this.

They are 6 days into their leaching tests which was planned for 18 days but the initial results look so good that the test is only expected now to last 12 days. They also have local sources of sulphuric acid in the region and the acid consumption is extremely low with rapid recovery in 30 minutes at pH 3-4.

They will have enough rare earth carbonate products by August to supply offtake partners with samples and he plans a scoping study by end of year so they are really progressing this enthusiasm and conviction.

Maybe we will see a bit more newsflow and marketing following the board reshuffle. The market needs newsflow even though we all know CTL is getting on with the job and delivering.

Definitely the pick of the bunch for EU. Serbia Jadar not happing, Savannah's Portugal project got too much opposition and baggage and Cinovec not 100% owned by EMH, deeper and nature constraints potentially although I am not following the latest developments on that on.

Zinnwald could have little waste, the sand produced as a byproduct could have good use along with the fertililiser product and precipitated calcium carbonate. It ticks all the boxes for a strategic project application and I expect Anton is working on that now. No reason why this would not be a designated strategic project and it already has underground development in place and can be a low impact mine.

More blue today hopefully but I am long on this as the best European lithium deposit that will actually get to production and with a major industry partner for offtake involved already. DYOR

Key point: Zinnwald is going to get to mining quicker than some of the the other projects because of the underground infrastructure.

I heard the CRMA takes effect this week (Thursday) as it is 20 days since it was published which is the statutory notice period from publication to being in force.

Europe is not self-sufficient in lithium. The European Union (EU) will need access to 18 times more lithium by 2030 and 60 times more by 2050 to meet projected demand for electric vehicles, which predominantly use lithium-powered batteries. While the EU has listed lithium as one of the 34 critical raw materials, its domestic production remains virtually zero. Efforts are underway to secure Europe’s supply of key minerals, including lithium, through initiatives like the Critical Raw Materials Act, which aims to ensure at least 10% of Europe’s lithium supply is domestically sourced by 2030

I see that Cobra is on the schedule for Mello presentation. Good to see them promoting the Company. Really undervalued and expecting a good rise as the small cap markets improve this year

Yes, looks like Cleantech is awakening. Nice to see this recovery and I am certainly holding out for the long term as there are multiples yet to go as this develops.
