Manna Hill

Dual native title claims over Manna Hill restricted previous progress, recently resolved and now a new single native title agreement

Large prospective and fertile land package with proven mineralisation, excellent MT geophysics/crustal structure, Similar geology to Cadia Valley, similar features, Cadia is Australias most profitable mine

BLue Rose Cu-Au Skarn Target: easy to advance to resource estimate, e.g. 48m @ 2.2% Cu, 0.76 g/t Au from 11m, 132m @ 0.5% Cu, 48m @ 0.8% Cu, 1.01 g/t Au

Golden Sophia Carlin style mineralisation: e.g. 60m @ 0.58 g/t Au from 10m (low cost heap-leaching target)

Netley Hill Porphyry: 350m @ 0.1% Cu, 0.015% Mo from surface in single deep drill hole. Massive scale and potential.

Blue Rose could be another Cadia, coeval geological events, skarn mineralisation adjacent to fertile porphyry, skarn mineralisation is continuous for 1.6km from the intrusion. Geophysical features indicative of altered intrusion at west end of skarn. Spectral alteration indicative of a broad porphyry system.

Historical Drilling at Blue Rose a foundation to build a scaleable shallow, high-grade oxidised skarn resource, low-cost, heap-leach

As little as 8m to top of mineralisation, 1.6km of strike, open at depth, defined to 175m

Gravity data has imaged the folded skarn limestone horizon which can now be tested on the other side of the porphyry and elsewhere. Very cost-effective shallow drilling to test for upside.

Almost sufficent data already for a resource at Blue Rose.

"The porphyry could be the next Havieron!" Evidence that it is very fertile

Netley Hill is proven porphyry mineralisation. 3km long chargeability anomaly, 350m @ 0.1% Cu, drilling agreement with native title, mapping to define focus of porphyry mineralisation.

Golden Sophia (Carlin Style), 1km gold in soils anomaly, walk up drill target to define broad, bulk tonnage gold targets. Could feed ore from here into White Dam heap leach mine which is not too far away.

The scale of Blue Rose is so significant that it will need stand alone infrastructure!

I watched the Webinar recording again this morning. It was excellent and Cobra is a fantastic company with good management and assets that are really compelling.

Some notes on Boland REE project below:

Only ISR REE operations remain profitable in China at current REE prices. Potential of Boland as only ex-China ISR with lowest cost-quartile costs.

Cobra has unique geology, confined hyper saline aquifer with high-permeability, low cost, low capex, low environmental risk, land returned to use with no tailings or waste.

1,000 assays imminent from histroric drilling, pointing to an exciting area of 50 sq km with higher-grade and widths of REE enriched material

Bench-scale ISR test to start on receipt of next results which are imminent

Bench-scale ISR test will produce a mixed REE carbonate product for testing for offtake agreements - (my own view is that it could lead to exciting news and potential early offtake agreement etc, could be a major catalyst as they are working on increasing the valuable Dy and Tb in the REE-carbonate product). The product will go to a number of off-takers (sounds like they know who they will be sending it to)

Flowsheet optimisation imminent - aim to reduce use of sulphuric acid i.e. reducing costs further

Field test pumps and tanks on site to commence ISR test pending receipt of permit to commence.

Drilling is planned and budgeted, board meeting with traditional owners next month, potential drilling in Oct or Nov.

EEE appears to be consolidating at this level before it moves up again. No surprise given the fantastic gains.

210K Oz Resource x 90% after mining dilution x 90% recovery x 50.1% ownership = 85,220 Oz

85,220 Oz x $3,400 / Oz = 289.7M

Discounted for early stage etc, market cap in my view should be c. £15-20M which is still a 5 bagger from here at 3.5p

Current ownership is 33.3%

Jangada also holds an option to increase its stake in MTgold to 50.1% through the issue of a further £500,000 in new Ordinary Shares

Just dipped a toe in here on the basis of some good newsflow and results over the coming months but they still only own 33% with rights to get to 50.1% of the project so the upside is going to be somewhat capped. However I agree that the MC could be higher for the potential of the asset.

The way I see it is that the Manna Hill project with those very good copper intersections is more derisked than greenfields IOCG plays. It is much more appealing to step out from good intersections and built a resource quickly than potentially drilling a lot of holes to find the focus of mineralisation on a greenfield IOCG and still not being any closer to a resource. Also there is demonstrated grade and width near-surface which is hard to come by in a new copper project these days. Cobra could advance the Manna Hill to a MRE while still getting a major to fund a JV to look at deeper porphyry and other targets and benefit from new data. e.g. Inflection Resource - Anglo Gold JV for Gold-Cu targets. There is optionality now and copper is a bigger market than REEs which only has a handful of producers outside of China along with uncertain pricing and the value has and always be in the separation and processing.

Yes that would make sense on Manna Hill, they probably have a lot more information on it then they have released. It would be great if they can quickly develop an initial near surface resource with decent grade and fast track that. Eagerly awaiting the webinar but have added another 50k shares this morning. Some good buying action already this morning and no RNS required :)

3-4 years for Boland production is achievable if everything is fast-tracked. Further drilling for resource infill/additions and metallurgy samples can be done in days due to the soft near surface material that hosts the REE, not weeks for a single deep HQ core or PQ metallurgy hole in a deeper hard rock deposit.

The field testing of the in-situ leach will be important and this will have to be scaled up a bit but assuming it all goes to plan there is a lot of value to be created yet along the route to production and yet it can be done at much lower costs than for a hard rock deposit. Typically at the point of a positive feasibility study for a large project you would expect a market cap in the low hundreds of millions so lots of work and upside to wait for yet but that where the multiple returns will come from with the associated risk.

I would also like to see more information on the Manna Hill project, cross sections, mineralogy info etc.

Well done to all the long-term holders who have stuck with this, unfortunately I was late to pick up on this stock which has gone from 9-10p range to 59p in the past 3 months with a market cap today of £390M (that is roughly x6), just wish I got in earlier.

Its encouraging to see good projects get strong investor interest after a tough few years in junior resource stocks. The other company I have conviction in is Cobra Resources who have been ticking all the boxes with great REE and Copper projects in Australia and they are starting to get noticed with > x2 rise in the past 2 months.

I like to think that with positive field tests for REE extraction (lowest coast quartile) and an expanded resource at Boland along with some good due diligence copper intersection at Manna Hill then we will see strides in the value of Cobra over the next few months. Not many juniors have the option on a project with intersections like 47m at 2.2% Cu and 0.76 g/t Au from 11m, 132m at 0.52% Cu from 8m including 48m at 1.04% Cu etc,

The Market cap of could easily double so if you are looking for the next one dyor on Cobra Resources.

Nice to see strong buying pressure. I added another 30,000 shares this morning at over 4p and have been holding a long time and will continue to hold for a few more bags. Might keep adding passed 500,000 shares as this now has a great outlook and is getting noticed. Great to see the surprise announcement today of the addition of a high-potential copper project with demonstrated grade and wide intersections from historic work. This could really add to the investor base that might not have been too interested in REEs but a great copper project along with a world class potential lowest-cost quartile REE project is now really appealing.

I never doubted the team and the projects but the stars are aligning now and 5p should be close by with some further news. We are a long way from the 1-2p range that it seemed to languish in for so long but I am glad I held and will continue to do so. I might even add some more tomorrow.

I heard another mention of a rotation into mining assets by a commentator on Bloomberg this morning following this earlier article at the start of the month.

I think it is going to be a good year ahead for Cobra and the resource sector.

I hope it is a 15 bagger, I have been holding a long time but never lost faith in Rupert and team or the assets. Nice to see some gains on the back of great news.

It would be nice if Lynas came knocking on Cobra's door. I think it is something they might be interested in looking at, they like Australia, Dy and Tb and low cost scaleable resources..

Two weeks ago, Tanzania-focused developer Peak Rare Earths (ASX:PEK) agreed to a $150 million takeover from its largest shareholder, China’s Shenghe Resources.

A day later, Andrew Forrest’s Wyloo Metals signed a joint venture with Hastings Technology Metals (ASX:HAS) over the advanced Yangibana rare earths project in Western Australia.

Lynas (ASX:LYC) managing director Amanda Lacaze told the AFR Mining Summit that the company always looked at external opportunities.

“The remarkable geology of Australia makes it difficult, in many cases, for other projects to compete,” she said.

“We always end up looking at, are we better spending the money on M&A, or are we better spending the money on developing our own orebodies? The fact that we haven’t actually completed any M&A at this stage tells you where our answer has been.”

However, at the Macquarie Conference earlier this month, Lacaze was quoted as saying the company was looking at projects in Malaysia and Brazil.

Reuters quoted her as saying the company was willing to work alongside smaller companies to develop deposits.

Lynas has opened up the universe of deposits it will be keen to acquire by producing its first heavy rare earths (dysprosium and terbium) from a new circuit at the Kuantan Refinery in Malaysia.

I see this at positive news and the Company is at least keeping some momentum with growing the scale of the project.

It is a low-cost low risk acquisition which will add news flow and potential value in the long term.

" It is our ambition to grow a multi-generational resource that can provide critical metals including dysprosium and terbium at a bottom quartile cost with the highest possible environmental stewardship. In simple terms: our mineral resource opportunity just got much bigger!"

Agreed but at least REE are getting some coverage not and Cobra too

Its a positive RNS, they have done what they said they would do and they have government support so while there is a lot of work yet to do, they have a good industrial cornerstone investor to keep it moving forward. I am confident that they can deliver further positive updates on time.
