30p DIVIDEND!!!!!!!!! thats more than some companys where their share price is over £20!!! GOES ex tomorrow.....so have to buy today to get the dividends......expect a fall tmw though its only usual but should be back to normal in a week or two!
the £11million sell is showing as a buy on my stockbroker account.....looks like someone knows something?!?
http://thescotsman.scotsman.com/business/MS-staff-offered-free-home.6071173.jp this could be the reason for the price rise today
i don't know the reason either mate...however this could be on reason http://www.independent.co.uk/news/business/news/shops-hit-by-big-freeze-had-worst-january-for-15-years-1893517.html
the dividends have not been stated unless i am unaware of it.........i would think that it would be near to 9p ish from previous payments.may/june seem to be the time that this share goes ex div. if it still remains the same
Final dividend....goes ex-div on 2 June......this means that you only need to hold the share one day before 2nd June to be entitled to the dividend. The share should start to rise nearer to this time but usualy drop after ex dividend by the same or greater amount that the dividends is.....hence making the dividend pointless!!! Best thing would be to sell a day prior to ex dividend and miss out completely on the dividends and buy back the next day at a much lower price!!! or you can just top up now as this is a very low price for this company.good luck mm
positive ALL DAY.....and finishes NEGATIVE....bloody stupid
Or you could see it as having less staff costs and more profit.....stores go along with technology it is only expected to see them following other STORES!!! The company is making profit and in this time of recession that is an excellent thing!!! Be more open minded
Hence why you are so bitter..........people being able to buy drinks from supermarkets have always been available as a choice however people are NOT prepared to do so!!!! Its like telling people why go to Restaurants when you can buy the ingredients from you local asda and make it yourself for the fraction of the price!!!! I'm sorry for your bad experiance but just learn to live with it and face the FACTS!!!
people are not gonna buy a share because you insist it would go up.........theres a high chance they will but would probabily go down more before they do go up.People should take their time and think properly before investing as you could be waiting months before you get your money back.Only invest if you can afford to lose that money.
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/tol/business/industry_sectors/transport/article6905864.ece record losses increase the share price Lol
sold as soon as i saw the price to buy in cheaper latter as lots of people will be selling now......should of bought more yesterday though LOl
I would not personally buy into this company as the spread on buy and sell price is too big.Not enough people buy and sell this share and for that reason it is very difficult to sell this share (even £3000 worth). The company are not making money like before and French connection is no longer a high street brand like before. To buy this share you should be prepared to wait years to sell at a profit. The biggest advantage of this share is that it has £23 million in the bank which is probabily decling as you read this.At first i disagreed and bought this with some research......however now i can admit i was wrong to buy into this company. If people give reasonable arguements why one should buy or sell a company you may be inclined to listen. But when one speaks nonsence about the foundations of this country (the banks) you should ignore them.If you buy this share be prepared to keep it until you become in profit.Under 40p would probabily be a good price as i bought high.Good luck to you guys though and research into a share in great detail before you invest and also monitor it for patterns.
from past experiance what i have learnt is bad news is generally always priced in before......hopefully this would be the case this time round as well....."The industry has been declared 'fit for purpose' 23 times over the past several decades, so we believe that it should be in the clear this time. However, it never pays to second guess the regulator," said Deutsche Bank analyst Geof Collyer. so lets hope its good news this time aswell. good luck to all tmw whatever happens
i reckon bad news has already been priced in....but may be wrong so i guess we will see
what would happen to the share price if the news for oft was bad?? and how long until it goes above 90p again??
why do people always sell when the price is coming down rather than buy and buy when the price is up rather than sell.......i really do not understand!!! Surely if they are scared of investing into the company they shouldn't do it at any price
its funny how you don't buy when the price is low but buy when its high Lol Just bought £10000 more shares in this company at 4:29pm ^_^......100+ next week in my opinion otherwise i'm an idiot Lol Good luck to every one
