Looks like Bird’s inflated ego is going to let shareholders down yet again.

In the name of fairness let the shareholders decide if the offer outlined is on the table

“Despite booming commodity prices and the company having great assets why have you totally failed to deliver any returns to shareholders for many years,why is the shareprice anchored way below 1p,why are shareholders constantly kept in the dark and was it really necessary to have a discount placing further devaluing longterm shareholders investment in the company”?

And secondly -“Are you serious about delivering returns to shareholders or is GLR just a big ego trip for you”.?

I really hope that Bird for once considers the shareholders and let them decide on any offer.

My fear is that Bird will think he is being clever by holding out for more and the good of the shareholders will once again be ignored.

It is totally unacceptable that the owners of a company (ie shareholders) can be sidelined and kept in the dark concerning material negotiations regarding the sale of any of the company assets.

Bird has had a life of luxury for many years due to the shareholders-it is time he delivered for them

Any fool can go on the Sunday Roast and waffle on about copper prices.

Good CEOs deliver material returns to shareholders and ensure shareholders questions/concerns are addressed

100% correct-hopefully calling out Bird for his lack of delivery of shareholders value is 100% on the mark.

I agree BSMonitor Bird if left unchallenged will perfectly happy to dilute and dilute rather than actually do something in the interest of shareholders-the Bird groupies here don’t get that any dilution reduces the percentage of any payout they get if and it appears a big “if” Bird ever attains a return for shareholders.

Unfortunately all the hot air Bird blows out about commodity prices have zero positive effect here if he keeps diluting and does not deliver a deal on one of the company assets.

FOR once Mr Bird if a deal is on the table let the shareholders decide -it would be the decent thing to do

Seems the only thing that you can rely on when it comes to GLR-hence the discounted placing when it would have been better for shareholders to sell an asset at a slightly reduced place.

Further sales proceeds (if they ever occur) would then be split between a lot fewer shares

For once give the shareholders a vote on any deal on the table and don’t just reject it without consulting the shareholders.

100% agree Levistubbs-guess we might get another Sunday Roast “waffle feast” in a couple of months in which Bird congratulates himself on predicting copper prices rises egged on by the hosts.

Great shame he is unable to convert his predictions into actual returns for shareholders here-Bord’s only achievement here this year is a discounted materially diluting placing with confetti warrants -guess it pays for his lifestyle

Hi - the company operates in South Africa and “ HQued “ in Cyprus -the dividends are deemed to be paid from Cyprus and not the UK

What return have I had here for holding shares for 10 years -nothing except dilution.

I can not honestly understand why some appear perfectly happy with Bird’s performance here.

Anyone can go on the Sunday Roast and big up how clever they are-much easier than producing actual returns to shareholders (especially when not 100% focused on one company)

Bird admitting on the Sunday Roast his number 1 priority is getting Bzt into production.

What about GLR and its shareholders -treated like second class citizens.

No wonder the shareprice is anchored to well below a 1p and it is always Groundhog Day here

Sums it up Flipper -we are clearly not Bird’s first priority otherwise he would have sold a non core asset instead of showing his contempt for investors by having a discounting placing and giving away options like confetti.

Think attending the AGM will compound the disappointment here -blah blah blah and nothing benefitting longterm shareholders forthcomming despite promising

Agree we need a fulltime CEO with an incentive bonus to deliver material shareholder returns -not a part time CEO with priorities elsewhere

Bird should be ashamed of himself having a worst shareprice here than a year ago despite his ramblings about the booming commodity market.

The only thing he has delivered here is dillution and anchored any shareprice with giving away warrants like confetti.

The longer the completion of the SA sale takes to complete the bigger the bonus from the high level of PGM prices.

Any chance of the company providing the SA production / revenue figures for the 3 months ended 30th September.

Oversubscribed indicates the placing should have been done at a premium too and not a discount to the shareprice-hence less dilution

The copper price clearly has no positive impact on the shareprice whatsoever .

The market clearly has little confidence in Bird turning the company assets into hard cash.

The recent discounted placing put an anchor on the shareprice.

After all these years of waiting and the recent “shafting “ of longterm shareholders with a large dilution Bird for once do the decent thing for once and pay half of the proceeds of any asset sale out as a special dividend

All these jam tomorrow posts-in reality Bird has achieved very little in delivering shareholder returns continuing to use apparant indefinite NDA s for providing shareholders very little information.

The only finite item delivered here to date is material shareholder dilution -why do this if the assets are as valuable as indicated and a deal is to be delivered in the next few months.
