Worth a look at from the first article the main stakeholders are back in Spain. There was a brief second Europa metals appeared on the EIT site last year but then swiftly disappeared.
Is this part of the bigger picture? Look who was at this meeting and what’s just been approved Daniel Torrejón Braojos, Deputy Director General of Mines. If EIT get behind these projects there will be funding.

WE HAVE A PLAN

On August 31, the Council of Ministers , at the request of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge ( MITECO ), officially approved in Spain the so-called Roadmap for the sustainable management of mineral raw materials, a milestone in the development of our sector for many reasons:

Institutional strength: this is the first time in the last 40 years that mineral raw materials have a common plan for all of Spain.

Immediate effects: it provides strategic autonomy to our country and guarantees the supply of key supplies for the energy transition.

Priorities : circular economy. A priority aligned with the work of Europa Metals, as you will remember here.

The Roadmap includes 46 measures and is aligned with the rest of the national policies (such as the recent REPowerEU Plan or the National Security Strategy approved in February) and the European Union.

In the Toral Project we celebrate, as a concrete measure to apply to our work standards, the implementation of a Quality and Environmental Seal or Mark (UNE); and we quote:

“Analyze and promote actions to promote the application of standards on Sustainable Mining-Metallurgical-Mineralurgical Management, by companies, as a standardized basis to accredit the quality of environmental and social management of the Mineral Raw Materials industry and as a lever for improve and advance in terms of social acceptance, since Spain is the only country in the world that has this type of regulation”.

The Deputy Director General of Mines of the Government of Spain praised precisely this paragraph of the Road Map, insisting on the character of Spain as the only country with this initiative.

For our part, from Europa Metals we welcome this Roadmap with a clear proactive orientation .

We are committed to developing an exemplary project within the Spanish extractive industry, with the implementation of the UNE 22470 and 22480:2019 Quality and Environmental Seals, together with the ISO 14001, 9001:2015 and 45001:2018 standards

Things are hotting up by the looks of hit

On September 9, the Conference on information on European networks and preparation of proposals on Cluster 4 focused on sustainability and raw materials issues will be held, organized by the Institute for Business Competitiveness of Castilla y León (#ICE) in collaboration with ICAMCyL Foundation, which seeks to publicize detailed information on the preparation of proposals for the different calls of 2023-2024 within Cluster 4 - Digital World, Industry, and Horizon Europe Area, as well as representation of European raw materials networks.

At EMI we start with excellent news for the project after the holiday period. This is the distinction by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain of INNOVATIVE PYME for the work of Europa Metals Iberia, SL, valid until August 2025.

This official seal recognizes the highest standards in innovation and distinguishes those companies that are committed to R&D&I as a fundamental engine for the economic growth of the territory where they are based. Internally, it is an engine for the development of the extractive project that we develop in El Bierzo , in northwestern Spain, providing:

Improvement of the innovative technical capacities of the project.
Development of high value R&D&i solutions.
Impulse in the field of our sector with high standards of competitiveness and best practices .
Results and know-how that can be consulted and contrasted as a reference for future extractive projects around the world.
This is a recognition by the Ministry of the technical excellence and responsibility of Europa Metals Iberia, SL, the result of a constant and sustained commitment to innovation . This vision is fully aligned with the Institute of Business Competitiveness (ICE) of the Junta de Castilla y León and its R+D+i programs by CDTI, with the recognition of the Government of Spain under the auspices of the European Union.

Specifically, the granting of this seal resulted from an innovative research and development project applied to the Toral Project , which consists of a new deep drilling deviation correction technique. Under the supervision of the project manager, Luis J. Pérez, and his geology and engineering team, the test drilling has been thoroughly and precisely designed. A key and indispensable factor in contemporary mining.

Specifically, the implementation of innovative tools and software collects all the possible parameters in real time during the execution of the drills and the application of "big data" provides algorithms based on the data from the records of the drills. The interpretation of the enormous amount of information and data allows predicting the deviations of the drilling work that is being carried out and enables the trajectory of the drilling in real time.

Sharing such good news at Europa Metals Ltd for the Toral Project. Just announced by the Spanish Government the official distinction for Europa Metals IBeria SL with the prestigious Innovative SME seal for our works ans excellence in developing Toral Project at Spain.

I don’t but it closes the 31st august. I’m thinking before the next fund raise. This also raises the question if this other company is involved we have multiple projects with multiple revenue stream potential here.

ICE is the main beneficiary of the INBEC project (CIRCULAR BIO-ECONOMY, PROMOTION AND DEVELOPMENT OF A SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY THROUGH INNOVATION AND BUSINESS COOPERATION), which is included in the European initiative INTERREG VA Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020 .

DESCRIPTION:

The project aims to identify existing resources and agents in the Circular Bio-Economy sector in the field of cross-border regions, and promote the development of R&D projects and cross-border cooperation, favoring the generation of knowledge and the development of biotechnological solutions for their incorporation into the market and the regional industry.

Within the framework of INBEC, and through Activity 3 "Project Bank", a technical assistance and advice service will be provided to SMEs in each of the project's areas of action, to attend national or international calls for obtaining financing when starting new projects or new business areas in the field of bioeconomy and circular economy.

Could be reading too much into this but why would you leave this comment if nothing is happening?

I have hope..The only hope is Bennelong only reason I haven’t completely sold currently they are £150,000 down on their investment DBA majorly down and still backing a supposedly dead project by naysayers. But having seen what Bennelong do we could be the next Alien Metals.

This other project isn’t out of the equation yet IMO and I believe they may forward sell some metal in order to achieve the next goal. Dilution IMO is not an option this time.
If you can’t sell or JV a project of this scale in the current market there’s issues. How I wish we still had the ironore project now

IMO I think they were hoping to have the results to increase the SP. I do believe this could be huge and remember they have been testing the drills through this so someone will know the results before we do. There’s always someone in the know!! WHI have indicated this in their report market undervalued. The stock market is also due a come back Q4 this year.

If this 900m drill brings significant resource EUZ could be a monster. WHI already said well under valued

The next fund raise or a TO/JV but if copper is hit could be interesting.

I was trying to be a little more optimistic.. you’re probably right…they should have done it at 5p to show confidence in the project. That would probably blow their brains doing that and looking after shareholders…LOL

Maybe the price would increase could be due to the results. 900m down is huge way how much is this going to increase the value when it’s extracted.. Also is this hot enough for Geo Thermal Energy?
