Quite so Brom. I do get that charting has its benefits, but in my view less so on small cap (often volitle) stocks that are mainly news driven on events that can't accurately be predicted. I've yet to see anyone that can accurately predict (charting or otherwise) how a share like this is going to move in the short term and how future unknown news will affect the price.

But you could have probably helped yourself a little and avoided criticism if you had said in your weekend post that the charts indicated to buy despite the situation you found yourself in..

As it appears to someone that doesn't fully understand all the technical indicators etc (such as myself), it comes across as the charts being interpreted with hindsight as you've only told us today on the 3rd consecutive day of rises that the charts signaled to buy on Friday. And over the weekend you only told us that the charts signaled to sell before Friday after that drop had happened.

So it does make it easy to be skeptical about the benefits of the method you're using and keep telling us about.

As I said, I don't wish to start an argument about it, just how I see it from the perspective of someone who doesn't use charting to make decisions.

But didn't you tell us you had sold a large chunk at a heavy loss on Friday? And now you appear to be saying that your charts said to buy on Friday?

Perhaps DW has just created himself a little breathing space so that they can get the wireline logging, analysis and decision on where to test before he's under pressure to release more news, and removes any expectation that we'll have all the results by the end of the week.

It depends on how you look at it. In early trading we've added approx £16m to the Mcap, RMP have added approx £11m.

RMP's only hope is Winx, to us Winx is a minor sideshow. RMP is also being heavily ramped by unknowledgeable speculators who will hit the sell button at the first sign of any trouble. See Friday as an example of what happens when they panic on the basis of news they don't understand - 33% of shares traded and a ~66% fall.

Perhaps bigger %gains to be made in RMP in the short term if it goes well, but much higher risk. And I wouldn't want to be there once all the pumpers/speculators move on.

Art, the original plan was to carry out a flow test on the best zone identified only, not to test multiple zones. This is what has been planned for time and budget wise.

Maybe that will change, but it might not be solely cash restraints that dictate the forward plan after the flow test. Weather will play apart (they need to get off the ice pad and road before it melts), and also equipment availability as what we're using could be booked in to be somewhere else.

Sounds like they only plan to test Nanushuk Formation at the moment, even though the Torok is also looking promising.

I guess that could still change depending on time and wire-line results. But at the moment it seems like they are sticking to the original plan, and that plan is working out very well.

I think TD was probably reached yesterday, which is indicated to be 6,500'. Yesterday's news (Monday) had the current depth at around 6000', and most likely was what they had reached on Sunday in Alaska.

No news today suggests we'll be getting a more comprehensive update than just confirmation TD has been reached, maybe with further analysis of what's been found so far. Alternatively the final 500' is taking a lot longer to drill than the first 6,000', which seems unlikely.

Some of the chat on the BMR board seems to suggest todays BMR tweet was due to BMR Watch insisting on an update.

Is this just Borrelli trying to invent a reason why he can't update them, and there isn't actually any news about to be released?

I know what you mean, all seems a bit odd. Its not as though BMR have been giving daily updates, and them not saying anything would be taken as unusual.

Some people seem a little over excited about a bit of trading activity going on today.

Perhaps DW needs to consider a new intro paragraph when he drafts up the farm out RNS. Something like "If you are an excitable type please calmly sit down before reading this announcement, and the board recommends that you do not look at any trading of 88E shares for the remainder of the day"

I don't believe so, as I understand it the platcro business we've bought is toll processing run of mine material from chrome miners in the area, and the deal doesn't include a chrome mine.

I haven't seen anything that says where we get that material from, but judging by the tailings pile that is growing in size there is material coming from somewhere.
