34Deg/Weeble, I think CB did hint at what you're suggesting in the webcast. Haven't got time to re-watch at the moment, but I recall it was in one of his mentions of mid-cap, and he talked about having spoken to a few people about what they need to do to convince the market of what they're doing. He suggested their advice to him was just to get on with progressing the projects and the numbers will speak for themselves, or words to that effect.

Very difficult to make these kinds of guesstimates, many factors and permutations involved, not least that there are 4 partners on this project and we don't know what the recoverable figure will be. At this stage, it could be anywhere between 0 and 400m+.

A potential buyer may want the whole discovery (assuming it ends up as that) and buy the stakes from all 4 partners. Anyone of those partners may be willing to take a lowball offer which then dictates the ceiling price for the others. Or at the other end of the scale, anyone of the partners could dig their heals in and hold out for an unrealistically high offer, which could scupper the deal for everyone.

Or a potential buyer may just want part of it, in which case they have got 4 options on who to approach for a stake. Having the largest stake, we may be in the best position in that scenario.

Just wondering about thoughts on the 10 day time frame in the RNS:

"A comprehensive wireline logging program is due to commence 6th March (AK time) to verify the prospectivity of the zones of interest. This program, including first pass interpretation, is expected to take ~10 days to complete."

Is it likely the first pass interpretation can be expected soon and what would that show? DW is always very good with keeping us updated, so wondering if there might be a reason he's specifically said about the first pass.

I've been looking at his tweets, earlier he was back tracking on his tweet from yesterday when some people challenged him. Judging by the RMP movement today, it looks like they're all wise to him now.

Looking at the posts on the BMR board, he seems to think there's a connection between CB and Blue Square because of a deal CB made with First Quantum about 10 years ago to sell another mining company operating in Zambia for $230m .

First Quantum - A multi billion $ listed company on the Canadian stock exchange
Blue Square - a 'mystery' outfit operating out of a London church that Borelli hooked up with.

I don't really see the connection there?

No idea really. Maybe it'll take longer, maybe we will get the deal this month. Whats at stake is so big its worth taking all the time that is necessary to get it right and the best deal possible.

Currently II's hold 13,121,450 shares

I can't evidence it, but on the 9th Feb there was some discussion about II ownership and I posted they held 8,862,709 shares.

That's an increase of just over 4m in the past month, or an increase of about 48%.

Still pretty insignificant compared to the total shares, worth keeping an eye on though.

Looks like we might open up, and RMP down. Will the RMP herd be arriving today?

Don't really think it takes any inside knowledge to work out that Conoco are likely to be one of the parties who've been in our dataroom and discussing Icewine with us, and that as a North Slope operator & explorer they'd be interested in seeing what happens at all the exploratory wells.

Can't help but be sceptical about these kinds of tweets. Yesterday we saw one that was trying to claim news of the wireline logging results about 4 hours after the earliest possible start time in Alsaka (if they had started at midnight in Alaska)

Conoco certainly seem a good contender for the hrz farmout later in the year, but plenty other likely contenders especially for the conventional farmout currently underway.

Personally I'm not that fussed who it is, anyone with deep pockets and the capability to explore the acreage would be just fine with me.

Don't think he's left us, did say he wasn't selling. But I think fairly annoyed and frustrated with the whole situation from Friday to Monday, so who knows! With the ASZ trading halt he wouldn't have been able to sell anyway on Friday, so a little more protected from the falls we saw.

Wolerine, DW has given us the timescale of 10 days, so I'm not really expecting to hear much on it until then. If we get earlier news as they go through the analysis, then its a bonus.

Maybe he's also going to be busy during the next 10 days to worry about constantly updating with minor details on winx, we do have a farm out to sort out as well :)

34Deg, agree, I also think the Sable Refinery deal is outside our control and likely depends on Glencore, perhaps also the Zam Government. Could be some negotiations going on between Glencore and the Gov related to the refinery, and Glencore trying to leverage a better outcome for themselves.

In the November webcast they said something like their preference is to secure an existing refinery at Kabwe and they're silently confident on it. In the same webcast they also alluded to the Platcro deal, although I don't think anyone really knew just what they meant and what a good deal it would be for us.

Taking a step back to consider the actual facts for a moment, the RNS said:

9 hours behind us, so the earliest the wireline logging would have started is 9am GMT if they started bang on midnight.

The tweet was around 13.15 GMT or 4.15am in Alsaka.

That gives a max 4 hours 15 minutes to start the wire logging (if they did start at midnight), get some results, and then leak those results to a serial twitter ramper in the UK.

Does that sound likely?

Its made up nonsense with only one objective, to ramp up the RMP share price so that he can sell at a higher level than its currently at.
