I think this is due for sure. Considering bp doesn’t publish trading profits I think we’re in the green by a huge margin. Opec meeting round the corner hoping they reconsider opening the taps because of India at least for another month.

If this doesn’t push it up would be very sad

Feels like one big fu to everyone the political landscape seems to be make everyone poorer and make it less affordable for those already struggling. I dread to think how these greeners are going to explain elderly death rates when they can’t afford to turn on the heating.

Hopefully this means investors will move over to this Side of the pond. Mind you I don’t trust that weasel sunak and his policies come autumn.

You can sort of see where the goldman and jp morgan valuations come from based on exxon and chevron 445 is basically 10 % down and 20 ish is about 10% down. What would really help is a boost to divi probably i'm just throwing guesses out there for this abysmal share price.

Easy comparison is our peers exxon and chevron only down 10 and 7% respectively compared to bp and rdsb 40% and 43% down logic ?

I concur on that note. it's really pie in the sky until numbers are seen. I think overall the lackluster performance isn't oilies in general it's the entire UK market most the movement seems to be across the pond.

Bit of a damp squib at the mo hoping we rise in to the 3s end of this week so results day can add a bit more would be thoroughly disappointed not to see a 20% increase from here though I somewhat expect that will be the case disappointed.

Open tomorrow judging by adr today’s drop across the market looks overdone maybe not so much stateside considering the Dow is higher than it’s ever been alas any drop in the states proceeds a drop here. In any event results day are going to be interesting hoping it sets a tone of confidence etc the price movements here left much to be desired considering other stocks.

BP hasn't failed to disappoint they could discover elderado at this rate and still not be able to hold it's head above 3 quid.
