AFF only need a 10-20km track to link to the better surfaces a little north of Nkout.I've researched this quite a bit.The negative posts on this aren't valid though I'm not arguing with anyone.Right,we now know what AFF can do with their initial spoli rock and waste-spread it out to make that new track! Of course a railway might be important in future but nothing to stop AFF using roads till that happens sometime and tortuous negotiations are completed,with lots of haggling lol.

I checked and the route is three-quarters paved in all ,and paved all the way,after you go a few km.on the road.

To be fair if I'd put it all into CNE rather than RRR and other assorted failures,for now at least,I'd have most of it plus the sizeable slice of dividends.But obviously a company like CNE should not be in the same sentence as RRR lol! There is a bit of unfinished business,I think BG wants to hold his high reputation for exploration success from the past,he never wanted CNE to be the utility it might have been if they'd stuck in India for years.The indian Govt. didn't want CNE to leave,they had issues with VED too but it was forced through despite that.The oil spill emergency plan is a weakness,technology doesn't appear up to removing many tons of oil from solid ice.However they will go back about 2014 they say...the whole thing is a pity really.A good share not so good now.

Article in paper saying CNE should give up Arctic drilling as too unsafe for spills.CNE say they'll go back in 2014.

JT-the game's a bogey now that CNR is rocketing upwards,another 9.5% there.My tobaccos will be suffering as in any metals boom,people unload defensives- already tobacco is 2nd lowest sector over the last month.I might need to begin smoking in desperation lol.Anyway,watch Jib shoot up the VPF's...

the old self of me before 2008 would make gains then reinvest,IF I make money in my shares now I hope to sit tight in cash mainly.My charts suggest a rise to a peak by about 2016,then a fall again for the 3rd bull market ending since 1999.The smart money will be in cash by 2016 if I'm correct.I've not bought anything for about a year,so that might go on another 3 ! Of course in the real world I'll return to CNE and lose it all lol! But JT will stop me.
