Actually was impressed by the RNS from AGQ though the new ball mill might take months to set up,they will have production and can work off their debts gradually while maybe silver does better.AGQ could be a VPF-esque pick,there's lots of potential growth there...Mine are doing as follows today-like to bore you with that lol. Well I go from first to last,happened with one-hit wonders on TOTP if you're old enough to remember that..at least I got my 1 week of fame.Can anyone dethrone Prar, someone else's turn to try now ? I knew my gold shares had a worse week though the score is 4 wins,a draw and 2 defeats,not bad.I still believe my tactics to have just one sector will get me either 1st or 4th ..GL

Greggs,one of Prar's picks is top of the runners today.I see 5 out of 7 of mine are up since the start.Not going to name any of course,made that mistake too often lol.Of course I named Greggs.

See earlier what I said about naming shares here and them going down ? KGI just dropped from 195p to nearly 150p lol.

Rather a sudden "settling back" ? But still made a good bit of progress the last month.

yes just read that-"including sale of the company shares and assets.." KGI must be a nice target for people - being in a stable jurisdiction,but perhaps needing some investment to grow more...so this must be good news you have to assume no deal would be done unless it "maximised shareholder value" as they said.KGI has dropped from about 440p in a year,it is now up 24% and has risen from 127p in a few weeks. I'd hope any deals would be done on where it was a year ago.

Accept all that..but "one activity a quarter "-needs clarified a bit by the judges-it could be "Bank", or "Sell/Buy".but "Bank then Buy"-no ? .. as that would be at different times,so after banking money it gets frozen till the next quarter ? ... If you can cope with all of that extra work- you suggested it. It might be an idea for the judges to print the FINAL rules here which cannot be changed.It should be more exciting,more skills needed,you might have in past jumped from frying pan into fire e.g. from ATC to BEM to RRR lol.Or worse someone from MONI or AMER to BEM ! what might make this interesting is if I sell my best share and bank the cash , someone else might take that share instead. Also you might see a late chance to win by buying a big dividend payer.But you can only take dividends if you hold the shares in the payout dates as in real life.

don't think it fair for someone to buy more of an existing share.All the held shares should be different at any time.One of us might get a huge amount of only one share that way, and slaughter us lol ! so, 8. not allowed to buy more of any share held at the time.

Being able to rejig ones VPF in midstream JT suggests ? Suggestions to judges- Each competitor can play "4 jokers" at any time during the year to replace any of the original 7 selections.i.e. you might replace the same one 4 times if you want. The actual change only to be made during any weekend, IF JT is busy, the change is backdated to the weekend when the change was notified by post here at the CNE thread.For example if Prar posts a change here at week 17,and JT is away and not posting till week 20,the change still takes effect officially from week 17.The amount from selling a share goes into the next share.It wouldn't be fair to give someone a new £10,000 lump sum. Is that OK ? Choice of shares-any available,even ones ditched by others are not off limits.Lets extend it as you said.Any shares up to your 7 can be sold for cash at any time and the cash banked if you want.But still no more than 4 new ones can be got by playing jokers in the year. Summary 1. begin with 7 shares at £10,000 each. 2. can play up to 4 jokers- if wished- during the year- at any weekend- to replace any share. 3. shares can be replaced more than once provided no more than 4 jokers are played in the year. 4. at any weekend,any of your 7 shares can be banked.The cash can stay as cash,or be spent again provided there are no more than 4 jokers played in the year. 5. if JT is absent,any playing of jokers is backdated at his next results to when a post here at CNE said the joker was being played. 6. Any share can be chosen including those discarded by other competitors. 7. Dividends,As in real life,ALL dividends should be added on at the end of a year-not just for ties within 1%.But they must be due to be paid in the year.I didn't count my extra 2 years 40p for AFF for that reason,and JT will have maybe huge dividends for BKG coming but no problem if paid during the year.So far my shares are nondividend this year so I won't be helped by that lol.

Prar always wins here yet can write a book in India at the same time lol.Or maybe he's still in that queue for a railway ticket at Mumbai Station ? I have not mentioned for a while what I invest in.Goldies in fact and they did quite well last summer.Of course not since then,but there are some signs of improvement now ? And in other miners too and therefore Jib might win.In fact I thought he would last year.The miners cannot be kept down forever,AGQ included.Though.RRR hardly produce anything except dreams.Your VPF is probably the safe one to win if things go on as they are,which cannot be ruled out..GL

Thanks for your effort.I know being ahead can mean little,you need to be ahead at the END lol! Janet Yellen of course became famous by seeing no bubbles in 2008 and she said recently the same thing again, so there is hope for our miners. GL

Shares bombing when I mention them ? Well that sounds familiar.. Anyway see that 8 of our respective AIM etc. rubbish ones are about 9-13p so we might see which of these gets the wooden spoon-BAO,TYM,SXX,AVM,MIRL,PGD,SHG.OMI.

Out little competition you might join last minute-this is the first day (if the judges agree) -just quickly type in here 7 share selections.Your chance the rest of the world won't get lol.

It is probably true there are more Greenpeace protestors in Baffin Bay than successful oil drills lol.That was the last real excitement when the protestors boarded a rig.The company boss BG believes there is the chance of an oil strike there.If you sift through all the GEUSMINEX reports as I have done though mostly for another company R*R which shall not have its name spoken here,there were in fact several signs of "oil seeps" onshore and the Danish scientists of GEUS/MINEX reckoned the geology was correct.I was quite surprised the other day to read in the BBC report that Greenland has not got any successful producing natural resource company even yet.The weather is bad and in many areas you are limited to 3 to 6 months of ice free seas.Some kind of underwater pumping platform/rig might be possible in event of getting oil to avoid the winter ice.Yes as JT says CNE have spent many £millions on this so far fruitless search.The funny thing is their other projects are not bad at all.If they could only concentrate on those it would in my opinion be a lot better.
