yes about a year ago I'd first made a good profit here then another slice my last was a loss.Pharmas can often do little for years then go wild.It is the long process of acceptance for drugs.

there are the brownfield and greenfield extensions of the present workings in Uruguay plus new prospects further out in Chile and Colombia-I'd doubt if OMI would get down to the 2 years or so of production which might make some unload here. This is all of course assuming present very low gold prices .If that changes upwards the Cantor 32p estimate might seem too careful ? GL

just read RNS-looks like be forced to sell by July 31st hope for a breakeven at least.I'd doubt if I'd want to own foreign shares done that before too much hassle with getting dividends,trading etc.Worst thoing is if £ is poor against the Canadian dollar.Sad mad and bad argghhh anyway was a nice board here often.

and I think I said to you I sold a large block of a PM fund a year ago to get into these PM shares. I broke even luckily then doing that switch. Why ditching a good fund made up mostly of strong US/Canadian large PM cos. ? 2 reasons-the fact these fund operators are treated as investment banks so thus subject to bail-ins in any meltdown i.e the depositors pay the bills a la Cyprus all in the small print already Secondly I looked at the other funds this fund company had and they included funds based on derivatives !!!!!!!!!!!!!-you know how there are loads of trillions of dollars worth of world derivatives now www.usdebtclock.org and a coming disaster there one day is why we should be in PM's I believe.

as said these ones will stay for me, though I could average down some of these a bit it isn't for me necessary or prudent.My whole ethos consists of being able to leave these in situ without worries.That relies on having enough cash to stop me worrying. It might be nice to pump in every available penny to averaging down but I've always tried to keep some kind of asset allocation pyramid. These days cash is king as we await a general market meltdown. Marr mentioned today that the business cycle should turn in 2017-18-I;d put it earlier maybe 2015-16.There will be good pickings for all shares once that reaches the depths.Yes PM shares will go down too but hardly as much seeing how low they are already, and I'd expect them to recover faster too.So cash will be useful in giving one confidence now and being ready for the recovery after the big fall coming.

have KGI FRES HOC OMI The latter one OMI is small but well formed, never lost anything on 4 or 5 deals there the opposite of here lol. Possibly the hardest is HOC their debt is due 2019-2021 I think enough time for a gold recovery and opening Inmaculada their new mine with cheap production soon. All these totally researched.

I'm just in 4 PM shares all research done and all producing in Canada/ S.American stable situations.Last year sold RRS and ACA to break even and give good profit respectively since Africa seems not a stable jurisdiction Ebola/geopoliticals etc.

if I touch wood went under a bus today I'd have to leave a note to switch shares soon if I was in general stocks but being in gold shares I know even years ahead they will do very well.

must be one of the smallest quite viable gold miners. OMI has most of what several larger ones have too.,

this has been one of the best gold shares recently and that should be my 25,000 th post ! lol

so just try to keep bit calmer next time ? Lol. Don't doubt there will be more dips, see that Indian banks are buying in gold now to try to hit gold imports. But how can that fail to raise gold physical prices ? Basically I worry about the too low MCap sometimes but all the RNS are quite sound and responsible.GL
