Ggp is a massive success so far, most will have topsliced but still looks like it has legs. I remember when eua was the frontrunner last year. Always thought that the bod were doing their best to achieve a company changing result, fingers crossed they'll get over the line.

I'm going to keep powder dry for another month or two and see when next Q figures drag down some long term holds! Have probably saved a fortune through suspension in short term.

I use Halifax but had to phone. They will tell you what the spread is before executing so you know exactly what you're getting.

Only have a few ggp in a trading account myself. But for another share I opened my isa with the same provider as my trading account and then phoned them and asked them to do the bed and isa. Was done while I was on the phone and lost very few shares.

Don't know how to share links properly here but Proactive has an article this morning talks about huge upside at monchetundra plus other assets and says shares were suspended in Feb but nothing more. It's dated this morning - do proactive tend to update old articles or do you think it's new?

I'm a novice here too but my understanding is we're either looking at a full sale which would result in the type of gain you describe or there could be a dividend. What you'd end up with in your pocket depends on whether you've invested via a stocks and shares isa or normal trading account. Have a read up on capital gains tax and tax on dividends and you can work out what your position would be.

I think that this share is an unique opportunity just so long as you only gamble what you are prepared to loose. The rewards are huge but you have to be willing to put your stake down. I wouldn't bet the farm on this but if it comes off I'll have enough to help my family out and double me my savings. I'm not selling a bean till judgement day. GLA!
