Russia may well be happy international bidders to win. They get the same taxes, control export duties so why not let foreign money pay to develop MT and provide some competition to NN. NN on the other hand want control supply to manage prices so whereas in the past they may have been happy to see our pd in the ground to boost the value of their own pd stock, this is no longer an optional. Exciting to see who wins the FSP.

Ian Hart is listed as a contact on at least one of our RNSs (July 1st) so could be we have the man himself on our deal. If so Ian is in a strong position to fly up the leaderboard when our deal closes - joint 15th deal makers are on £6.8b for the year, both over 2 deals. Top ten person from Barclays on £9.5b over 3 deals. Cmon Ian, get up that leaderboard!
