If they are shareholders from 2014 they will have done pretty well, but on the basis of what you say it sounds like some other promises, made presumably by Evraz, have not been followed through.
As fb commented a few days ago, if BVL needs to step in, it should be able to deduct the cost from royalties due to Evraz.

Bushveld Minerals Limited (AIM: BMN), the AIM listed, integrated primary vanadium producer, with ownership of high grade vanadium assets, reports an unprotected industrial action at the Vametco Vanadium Mine ("Vametco") has temporarily stopped production with effect from the evening of the 5th of September 2018.

The industrial action is in relation to historic legacy issues and compensation structures prior to Bushveld's acquisition of Vametco.

In keeping with the Company's active employee and stakeholder engagement, the Senior Management team held a meeting with the Union Representatives, during which the Company agreed with the Union Representatives that they would urge for all labour to resume work with immediate effect, on the basis of a commitment between both parties to negotiate and agree an Employee Share Ownership Plan during the course of next week.Â

The Company continues to engage with the Union Representatives and is hopeful of a speedy resolution and resumption of operations.

The Company will update the market as appropriate.

I'm not aware of any AIM100 trackers or more selective AIM ETFs, but i would expect promotion into the AIM100 to attract the attention of, or provide a nudge for, the managers of funds such as those for Smaller Companies or Special Situations.
It's also doing a little something for broader raising of awareness of this rising star. IMO

I too made my first purchase in October 2013, on the 18th, for 3.88p. The portfolio platform I use shows the share opening at 7p and closing at 3.6p von that day.
The cause of the drop if I remember rightly, was Obtala and Blackrock dumping big stakes, for reasons that were not anything to do with BMN's prospects. Seemed like a good buying opportunity at the time; hindsight shows it wasn't good but spectacular, in a once in a lifetime type way. It's going to change my life, and that of my children.
