Echoes " As we have not had news on Alkammonia I am concerned that it has either been a failure or they need a further extension..... What happens then ? Will we lose funding? Will we be allowed a further extension ?" What changed between 9pm Friday night and first thing Saturday am?
BB, I think it’s all down to storage, it’s more practical to store as liquid ammonia than liquid hydrogen and you can get more hydrogen by volume in liquid ammonia than compressed hydrogen gas at the pressures expected in say a standard industry 90kg tank.
Echoes: happening a lot at the moment, gremlins in the system.
We don’t know that, I’m pretty sure the cost of smaller remote systems will be more expensive per kW to build, run and maintain compared to a larger static system. Hopefully AFC are still going to be cheaper but I would need to see more information.
Somethings going seriously wrong with this site at the moment, just lost SS’s post only for it to be replaced with another. Coupled with the rogue SP I think the admins are on the troll.
I can still see Mucksy’s post, if only 165p....... think that would be enough to trigger me to unload about 50% of my shares.
Surely trades wouldn’t match up completely so some surplus’s would be required for smooth trading, So when someone buys it’s reported as a buy and when someone sells it’s reported as a sell, how else can you have a day of 500k buys and 250k sells or vice versa. The MM’s or electronic system must have capacity to have some shares on the books ready for buyers but obviously like any market only enough to meet demand without being exposed to undue risk, which is why you can’t always buy or sell the amount of shares that you want. That’s my take on it anyway please anyone feel free to correct me.
I'm about 80% sure that that figure was made up.
Not including the cost per hydrogen, the cost per kW will be different, cost per kW will be different for one static system of 240kW than it would be for 24 separate systems if 10kW. We will have to wait for the results and a separate costing for the Alkamonia project, but as I see it it will be noticeably higher.
Richlist, the sub 10c per kW would be for larger static systems, the cost per kW would be much higher for remote low power applications.
The BOD might not be immediately concerned with the downward drift of the SP, a meeting won’t solve anything, good news followed by better news is what we need.
I think these are the targets based around static core type systems, more mobile systems relying on a bottled gas source may be more expensive to run, will have to wait for more information to give a reasonable estimate on off grid costs per kW.
What's a worked sale?
People are buying and selling all the time, the difference is that most people on here are in for the long haul, there’s lots of day traders looking to pick up a quick win on the charge up, false alarm so unload and bet on the next one.
Does the 28 day rule apply to options? 400,000 shares is 400,000 shares regardless of the price.
echoes, the optimist In me would like to think that it would better fit into an ISA now rather than later, in reality I don’t have a clue, as B.B. stated options have to be executed by next year anyway so why not now.
Is this not just a member of staff exercising their options? Any deeper meaning would surely be guess work.
Thanks Echoes, that’s answered a few questions for me, seems like bottle storage isn’t practical for hydrogen hence storing it as ammonia where a 68kg cylinder will give 260kWh, largeer projects won’t be relying on bottle gas.
Is the 8kwh not the take/boil off rate for the bottle rather than the total capacity?
