Nomlungu, That is total authority they need in place for the future, NOT something they need to issue tomorrow. Placing was needed to advance GeneICE / Val 101 and VAL301. No surprise there. My issue was only they could have raised them at a higher price. 47.5m is only about 11% dilution. Hence the drop first and quick bounce. I am little annoyed that I missed the drop as had a very busy afternoon. Placing is still far far better than doing kind of YA, Darwin, Bergen type of finance deals which seem to have an overhang forever and Price never recovers. BOD also need to be made aware of 'Primary Bid' Platform. These scientists are too busy in finding cure for cancer, that they miss a trick on better funding options & seem to just rely on their brokers advice by the looks of it. Will not be surprised if majority if not all of today's 47.5m shares already Forward Sold. I am positive about VAL future as all the compounds would appeal to any BIG Pharma as one stop shop giving them a competitive edge over rivals. You on the other hand can de-ramp as much as you want, makes no difference. Market decides potential future value. All latest info including granting of US and European patents is out in public domain for everyone to see including Big Pharma.

Just noticed RNS to raise little under £1m at 2p and warrants at 2.5p. I think they should have raised at 2.5p minimum or little higher and warrants at 3p given that share price has been above 3p for a while. All companies list on AIM to raise funds to advance the business. Agree with general consensus, that BOD also need to participate in the Placing as a show of confidence OR offer Placing shares to PIs as first refusal to buy in at 2p. Good thing to note however was reason for Placing: (1) Advance VAL201 clinical trials (2) advancing the pre-clinical programmes, for both VAL101 and VAL301. Especially after recent +ve update on both GeneICE and VAL101 on 19 Apr RNS. Not many bio-techs around advancing ALL 4 important compounds...VAL 101, 201, 301 and 401. However 401 did not get a mention in the RNS. Will be nice to get a licensing Deal secured soon with BIG Pharma for 401.

PT, thanks. Same to you mate. I'm still Overweight in MATD, but re-jigging my portfolio a bit. Sold most of my laggards at a small loss to re-invest in 'Select few' with near term news that still look cheap. BOIL along with MATD fits that criteria very well. Also good to have bit more exposure. I measure MCap vs relative upside of 100% minimum. Boil should do very well in coming weeks. ATB

Yes very good volume. Confidence building here by the looks of it. Was this around 0.75-0.80 just 3 months ago? Can see that being breached this time around in coming weeks en route to +1p

Difficult to hold this back when Drills are getting closer each day. Tree shakes & little profit taking happens on every share. You just need to focus on your Exit price.

Very stable here, primed for move up soon. Very good consolidation around 13p. Drill bit to go in to action soon.

Phoebus, Good valid points. MATD is well ahead of the game in terms of Operational Roadmap & fully funded etc. I think BPC rose today from a very low price having been stuck far too long. Hence today's rise looked big. Agree 100% with you, at MCap level MATD is significantly undervalued vs peers. Agree with both Bladderman & Dowzabba and others also. Frustrating as it is but MATD is about to tap into huge basins. Strike at either one or both of first 2 wells will cause hysteria here. Low free Float and arrival of the 'Herd' will just cause multiple intra-day auctions and panic. Difficult at times already to buy any decent Qty. Just let the drill activity begin and MATD will come alive Big time.

Captain, Also as noix reconfirmed company itself has identified 'Secondary' targets. Yes, one of the company presentation showed 'Cross section' of the MS sequence, Petroleum layers. They think there could be 2 not 1 Petroleum systems in Mongolia. Current production comes from MS2 sequence with MS1 (deeper layer) also prospective for Oil. Deeper layer not proven yet though due to not much exploration in Mongolia generally after Soviets left. All could change this year soon as MATD drill. You need to Chill a bit.....or may be go get laid or something.....LoL.

I think Snow Leopard could come in bigger than just 90MMBO and surprise many. So could Wild Horse. Geology is superb and love the Oil Rich thick lacustrine shales in 'lake setting'. Combined estimates of 380MMBO Recov. still large though from both wells.

Personally I think they will stick with both Snow Leopard and Wild Horse + 2 further appraisal drills in Block XX for 2018 drill campaign. 4 back to back fully funded drills gives MATD plenty to get on with this year. That other considerably larger prospect in Block V will probably be drilled in 2019 once it is at 'Drill ready' status.

Looks like must have been false rumours. On Nasdaq MTP reversed 100% gain in the morning session closing only 10% up by close. Currently 30% cheaper to buy on Nasdaq than London closing price.

Don't think you fully understand. UK followed Nasdaq spike today. At London close ADR price on Nasdaq was around $1.55 (57p). Folks wanted to ride another 10p upside, hence bought on the bell hoping for a higher London opening price. Unfortunately ADR on Nasdaq lost 90% of the gains from the morning 100% spike. Looks like plenty on Nasdaq also got royally spiked. Somebody must have floated 'False' rumours I think causing that spike. You don't give up 90% of the 100% morning spike just like that. This will Open Lower unless there is a good RNS. I am not expecting any. ADR closing price on Nasdaq equates to only 36.45p
