Solgold flourished after Newcrest took initial stake there to fund Cascabel....jumping from 1p to 46p. Read RNS in detail last night and noticed that our advisor was same as the one who introduced NewCrest to Solgold.... Maxit Capital. OMI looks to be SOLG 2...

Got more at 6.20 today. Wanted more at close last night but MMs did not seem to have any shares left. 10-20 Bagger this one. Hold for Gold (literally)

EyeGuy, Massively undervalued this one. Next door deposit valued at $600m. Even £100m MCap here is 68p a share. No brainer...why do you think Newmont paid 102% Premium for their initial 20% stake.

Issue is the sheer size of 733m new shares at 0.30 that will hit the market. Will take a while to shift them. BOD messed this one big time. Could have done at 0.50 minimum.

Immense value to be realised here. MMs know the demand and can only grab shares from us. Need to take it higher to attract sellers. I am not selling at these price especially with Newmont now already on board.

10p would value OMI at only £14.7m? AnzA is a massive Gold deposit and Newmont know it. Don't sell yourself cheap. Their is HUGE demand for your shares. Accumulate & Hold for full value. Newmont on board now.

As per RNS, Newmont would want to maintain its % Holding. If price next year or two, was £1.00 or £2.00 then that is what Newmont will need to pay to earn in further Ownership Interest in the massive AnzA Gold deposit. OR Newmont might simply decide to Buy Out Orosur for £1.00 knock out price early.

Yep, if price is 20p then Newmont will pay 20p to earn in further Ownership interest......simples. Still will be ridiculously cheap MCap.

EyeGuy, Nice find. OMI is significantly undervalued. Newmont pick up all costs to take the huge AnzA deposit to production giving usFREE carry.

Solgold had a great asset but no funds to develop it initially. It was only after Newcrest took a stake in Solgold, that it flourished to 45p with c.500m MCap currently. Same scenario should play out here. You can work out the phenomenal scale of the Upside here easily. GGP jumped to c.£100m MCap on just speculation of Newmont coming on board. At OMI, we already crossed that bridge. My own strategy would be to; Buy, Accumulate and Hold. Not making same mistake as Solgold.

MickR, Good posts. Certainly with a tiny free Float, this can move really fast. So many times today there were many of us who were unable to buy at our desired price and had to pay premium. Newmont has for a long time set its goal to become No.1 Gold producer beating Canadian Barrick Gold from the top spot. Initial investment in OMI is just the beginning. But will Barrick Gold let Newmont take the crown position?

Mannan, Anything can happen on AIM. Folks were saying very different things along Solgold 1p - 45p journey. Many sold out too early, never got back in. Current MCap £7m vs assets/resource...think you can work it out. I just got another batch. Better than 6p I paid earlier.

5.4p should be the floor here in my view. Price should be higher as future Newmont stakes should be at higher Buy in price. Same happened when Newcrest bought initial stake in Solgold. Later stakes were at a much higher price than their original 8p. Nobody predicted Solg rise from 1p to 45p. Anything below 5.4p is buying at a discount to what Newmont paid to get in.

Prior to Newmont farm Out, this was priced to fail. Whole new ball game now. Was 18p last Sep. Rising from extremely low base price today. Still below what Newmont paid to buy in. No brainer at these prices...

MMs grabbing cheap stock to sell to Canadian clients probably. They can only grab it from open market. Remove Stop losses or set higher limit order price.

General profit taking....would be normal anyway.

MCap is tiny Vs assets & resource.

Newmont 5.4p Buy in is a good price too.

Only been 40 mins there since open.
