Despite the unusually strong dollar, Sean Boyd, CEO of Agnico Eagle sees gold having already reached a bottom and can expect the price to rally soon.

“We think gold’s bottomed here, the U.S. dollar’s been unusually strong, things don’t stay the same forever, so I think it’s important for the industry to re-position itself through smart M&A,” Boyd told Kitco News on the sidelines of the Denver Gold Forum.

That wide gap in MCap needs to narrow and should soon as drilling recommences.

Yep. Newmont know it. Paid $140 per Oz for Miramar mining. How much will Newmont pay OMI for their high grades down the road. $100 per Oz let's say for +3.5m Oz $350m Knock out Bid may be?

Added more. Was happy paying 10.28 yesterday....lucky to get more sub 10p. Did not expect to fall below 10p but then MMs need to grab shares from somewhere with not many in free Float.
