Chickendinner, I think you will gain lot more upside from here if you simply hold and let it grow. This is a growth stock especially with crazy low MCap....and Newmont as biggest shareholder. Perfect combination for significant re-rate soon as drilling starts, which should be anytime soon. Each stock has its own potential. Need to look at relative % upside without getting emotion in the way....simple.

You only need to look at the committed $30m spend by Newmont for picking up additional 45% ownership to lift their stake to 65% end of phase 2. But that to me seems like a distraction. Newmont do not hang about. To buy Out OMI for just $150m cash offer would be pocket change. They can make an offer ANY time having already secured 20% of Voting rights. Imho, Dyor.

Agree. Full impact of Newmont on board still not fully reflected in curent share price. Should be closer to 20p imo. Newmont also reserve the right to increase their investment in OMI. I would expect another tranche of shares to be picked up by Newmont soon before they Buy Out OMI outright and take full control of Anza.

Yep. This goes Up without any warning. Before you try to get in its up 10-15% as seen few times now. Multiple price moving catalysts on its way as Drill results of next phase come in which will be sooner and not 2019. Drilling campaign itself will run well into 2019 as 90% of Anza still needs to be drilled.

any day now that we have started the drilling at both APTA extension zones and Charascalla. APTA on its own is looking like Multi-million Oz Gold deposit in my view.

OMI share price hit CAD$5.95 per share (£3.00) back in 2006 when they were producing decent Gold oz from their Uruguay gold mine....only mine in the country. So yes potential Upside from Anza Gold deposit is just phenomenal, from current crazy low MCap £13m only?

$1 Billion is about right i think.

NEWMONT themselves paid US$1.5 Billion for 10.7 Moz when they bought 'Miramar Mining', for a Gold deposit that was located in way up remote Northern parts of Canada........valued it at approx. $140 per oz.

Scale it down to approx. $100 per oz at todays Gold price......however Gold price forecast for next year is $1700 / oz by both JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank. Next forecast is quoted at $1450 / oz.

NEWMONT will chase 'High Grade Gold' deposits, no matter where they located.
