Like in the past when this would move +20% higher each day 2-3 days in a row leaving most traders scratching their heads...LoL.

The minute we see DQE coming onboard RNS watch this fly at speed. This would become unstoppable.

With follow on updates on DQE proposal and Heron-1 oil production getting closer each day price could soon be in DOUBLE digits.

Yes. With Brent storming higher, we could achieve higher price for Block XX.

A dig at Velociraptor this year could change the dynamics very strongly in our favour.

Call it blessing...but defo perfect time to bring Heron Oil to production this year after all the wait. Would be well worth it.

MATD is a must own stock in any portfolio for 2022 and beyond.

We are talking potential 'Buy Out' of Block XX only not MATD as a whole company.

30p - 35p offer for Block XX would be fair imo.

I would give it 12 months before an offer to buy out Block XX is on the table in my personal opinion.

Potential buy out offer for Block XX i would estimate around $250m - $300m range in my personal view. Going by how much Petrochina paid to Soco Intl as a proxy at lower price back then.

DQE would fast track drills to much higher than just 3 wells. Thus getting to 8000 bopd much much quicker $$$$$$$

Petrochina wants Block XX also to themselves in my view to make up for their own production shortfall from 25000 bopd to 17000 bopd currently.

We should gradually tick up back towards breaking past +5p and move into higher price bracket. This low price would soon be history.

AGM does not have any price sensitive info (generally speaking) other than business as usual stuff and a few resolutions to be passed.

We just had an Operational update which was quite packed with lot of info. We seem to be on track with first Heron oil in Q2 this (Apr-Jun).

However DQE proposal was very interesting.

With all due respect i have gone overweight here.
Last few years been choppy here so trimmed my position over the years. I started building my position here AGAIN since Jan 2022 coz with Heron discovery and operations about to commence, this is a truly transformational year.

Also looks like we finally got attention of DQE / PetroChina. I am also looking forward to Block V raptor drills with Velociraptor probably this year and other 2 raptors later on each of the 3 prospects with 200 MMBO (600 MMBO).

I am not as long term holders as Ojay / GKahn and others like yourself, but been here long enough.
Would be an honour to meet some of you guys for £1 party in not too distant future.

DQE owned by Petrochina been operating in their Blocks 19 and 21 for over 15 years since first coming onto the scene for SOCO International when they first discovered Oil and before Petrochina made an offer and bought those blocks from SOCO for around $100m when oil was only around $25/bbl.

Heron-1 as we know is an extension of Block 19 well 19-46. However Heron-1 flowed at 821 bopd much higher than Petrochina 500 bopd.

MATD have been fully funded to bring Heron-1 well to production in H1 2022 with additional wells Heron-2 and 3 planned for H2 2022 anyway.

However DQE proposal has now created a very interesting angle here. With years of experience operating in Blocks 19 and 21, DQE provides full suite of services.

This is evolving like very similar (if not exactly same) situation soon after SOCO first discovered oil in Block 19. DQE got involved from the very start and soon after their parent Company Petrochina offered $100m to SOCO to buy out those blocks. Oil price was around $25/bbl around then if i remember correctly.

Interesting thing now is that Oil price today is around $100/bbl and Heron-1 flow rate at 821 bopd is higher than SOCO 500 bopd back then.

Get your imagination working and put on your hindsight Cap to work out where we headed.
