That is an interesting point of view from Mister Barisoni and thank you for sharing Steve.
Probably the two most pertinent things i would take from that are...
1 , can SYME drum up enough income to keep going before they run out of cash and...
2 , the sheer complexity of SYMES business proposition maybe be a little off putting and make the whole thing a hard sell "too innovative"
for what it is worth , i think they WILL get more customers on board before the money runs out , but they are cutting it a little fine ,
and the more customers they get on board - the easier it will be for them to sell the"too innovative" idea to yet more customers.
You will forgive me if i DON'T use the term "snowball" but it would be nice if that turned out to be the case!

Good Morning All.
There is a long list of negatives that can be trotted out and the frustration felt by investors is entirely understandable but selling up doesn't seem like a good idea as I am sure most of us are many fathoms down and while there is the slightest chance that this might bounce back I am inclined to wait and see.
Putting my glass half full head on , let's take a look at some positives.
1 , First IM has already been achieved and we KNOW there is a further 8.4 million dollars worth on the table.
2 , PNP is imminent and , supposedly , although I don't pretend to fully understand the machinations of it , will allow Italian inventory monetisation platform to progress.
3 , one million euro bank loan recently negotiated.
4 , apparently, SYME are still hiring.
I am hoping that these four ingredients are all being blended in the same pot as we speak and will turn out to be something rather tasty !
...although , in all honesty , this does have a kind of "last chance saloon" kind of feel to it.
Here's hoping that AZ can snatch victory out of the jaws of defeat!

... and when this PNP malarky gets the go ahead and IF indeed it does turn out to be the key to unlock SYMES much vaunted Italian monetisation platform , i wouldn't be surprised to see the outstanding 8.4 million of funding made available by Vechain being used to accommodate further clients , or at least i HOPE something like that is brewing!

Not sure how relevant this article is now as it is over two years old.

It may very well be that we are on the cusp of hearing some good news about progress of web 3 platform and PNP etc but to think that this might 20 bag anytime soon or even over the course of the next 12 months seems fanciful at least , if for no other reason than the sheer number of shares in circulation.
In my opinion , as an investor in SYME I am definitely taking a gamble and at the minute my nag is being scrubbed along out the back and looking a bit out of sorts but ...
well ya never know , stranger things have happened!
I won't be tearing up my betting slip just yet! LoL!

and as far as my understanding of it goes it might just as well be!
It is enough to know however , that this piece of Italian legislation could be the key to unlock the white label platform in Italy for Italian companies , i am not sure if there will be any knock on effect for potential business in other countries or regions.
I think the Italian bank loan , the fact that SYME still seem to be hiring and the radio silence from AZ should all be seen as positives with regard to PNP , something brewing in the wings.
It will be interesting to see , if/ when PNP gets rubber stamped , how quickly the platform can get up and running as a result thereof . It will also be very interesting to see what kind of funder or funders have been lined up , surely there must be some!
Even if all the ducks get lined up and everything goes smoothly i would be surprised(very pleasantly surprised mind you)
to see any HUGEleap forward in sp , i would have thought you would have to see the platform up and running and trading with some significant volumes before that can happen , and having had so many disappointments in the past i am inclined to temper my expectations. Could be an interesting few days/weeks ahead though and let's hope for all the right reasons!

Your view is not an unreasonable one but I think there is a bit of a catch 22 going on , for the sp to recover to a point where most lth's could break even and bale out there would have to have been some significantly good news which in turn could see an upturn in sentiment which could see lth's deciding to stick with it. I think that it is still possible that all the pieces could fall into place , maybe with a white label platform but we would still need to see a significant uptake from funders in particular.
The white label platform is the dance floor but the bulging pipeline of potential customers are just wallflowers if the funders don't turn up , takes two to tango.
...and even if they do turn up it would need to be in pretty hefty volumes to send the sp very far north , let's not forget there are 56 BILLION shares in play!
So yes , all is not too rosy in the garden just now but people , including me , will be reluctant to sell at a big loss while there is still a chance of the band striking up so to speak...

I've always been luke warm on SYME and that has never really changed BUT ...
for what it's worth and if you take these things at face value , banks tend not dole out one million euro loans to any Tom Dick or Alessandro and companies don't tend to hire people if there is nothing for them to do.
Despite my general cynicism , my gut feeling is that SYME will turn a corner at some point and we might at least get our money back , might even make a few quid!
In any case we're kinda stuck with it now so we might as well just grin and bare it and hope for the best.
