@ Strangy
That's probably a healthy or conservative view. I could agree on that but I think I'm slightly more positive here.
Short term, I admit, the stock might remain volatile. Maybe even go down a bit which I might even welcome with buying more shares. But mid to long term I think SAE simply "has to" settle at something above 4 GBX (Β£ 29m mcap). My reasoning here is that SAEs inofficial book value is probably much higher than its actual book value.
The reason why I keep repeating the 4x Β£20m = Β£80m = Uskmouth thing is for someone to either confirm or challenge this view. Honestly, I don't know if it's that simple but the way it looks to me, Uskmouth was an investment ages ago which might not have become what we all thought, but still manages to safe the company. Maybe not entirely to fund all their tidal ambitions, which was what I was hoping for, but, nonetheless, increases the value of the company significantly. All that was, to me, proven with the first 230 MW BESS. Whether or not SAE can reach the moon someday is pretty much up to debate still. But just looking at my investment so far, it is starting to look profitable with plenty of room left in the upwards direction. I wouldn't even call your or my assessment here as ramping. To me that's more a very likely scenario that is about to happen.
Anyways, adding existing CfDs and the potential of increase support for tidal, this might justify a higher market cap than Β£29m. So I'd still want to believe that, mid to short term, SAE should land somewhere between 4 and 8 GBX.
Unless something triggers some kind of hype around tidal stream energy. Give it one official statement like "UK's goal for tidal stream energy is to deploy 1GW or more" and people will become willing to pay a premium. That's where speculation begins of course.

Well, I did buy around 1 GBX but didn't dare to put in more tbh. I was very close to buy an additional chunk of 100k shares for Β£1k but SAE is in fact my largest position aside from my ETF and at some point I just have to pull back and remind myself that there's always going to be risk. #Wirecard #Gazprom #PlugPower
