you're confusing FIG & RKH - RKH may not put out any announcement but FIG regularly report the actions of their various meetings. Generally though they're not driven by UK PR companies or shareholders so approval to go-ahead will be buried amongst things like road repairs, street lighting and other pressing concerns of the Falklands electorate.
Normally it's about a week after the meeting when the Officers have had a chance to make sure all the Councillors are happy with the contents.
"So one argument they have is decommission costs which will be how many decades away? It’s a field in a desolate part of humberside by the North Sea."
Try that one on the politicians and the NSTA Paul m'boy - they'll want it done in a couple of years max. And they can force them to do it under the legislation. Even UKOG have been forced to P&A sites over the last 5 years.

Bp - we try and tell them but they still run over the cliff edge - of course most of those who posted last week have disappeared and will never be heard of again
"Does that make sense, Mirasol? It's because the cost of getting out is more than your shares are worth that you post all the time?"
So why do you post Ocelot? You never claim to have shares, or any financial interest in the company. But you follow the Company line to the hilt -. We all know you. or your direct employers, are paid by ANGS
" are you guys currently holding short positions? "
Ahhh - the SHORTERS appear again - in years on here no-one has been able to explain clearly how anyone can short a small oiler on AIM. The ramp squad always claim the "shorters" are to blame or, falling that the MM's for the non-appearance of multi-baggers.
Face it - it's the useless management at these companies and their advisors and hangers on who make the money
"WN will go ahead, this is the future of Britain we are on about, not Marxist MillIband a"
Explain how please. Labour have a majority of 148 seats and they don't have to go to the country for almost 4 years. Miliband was given a top spot at last weeks Party Conference and is the darling of the party. West newton will not go ahead as no real oil company is interested in it anyway - the results to date have been less than good.
