Wrong - Licensing 1.01 refers to Denmark -where the Govt gave a small consortium of big companies all the offshore acreage for years - and then 20 years later they had about 10% of the activity of Norway, NL, UK and had to legislate to remove the monopoly.

You want as many operators as possible. But what the FI needs is a medium sized operator - not minnows

It WAS a potential major project after Conoco drilled the Godley Bridge 1 well in 1982 - that's 40 years ago. After the -2 and 2z wells and Arreton 1 in 1986 it was a dog. Since then the Licence has been held by numerous other oil companies (all bigger than UKOG) and no-one has thought it will work. Note there is almost no new seismic data in the area since the wells were drilled. The 2010 line shot by Star east west on the UKOGL site is absolutely flat - any structure is created in the depth conversion process.

On angus energy web site so upbeat about Lidsey easily funding them for years, so our % should see us in the same boat funded for years. He was also supremely confident about what Brockham will be doing and that is rated better than Horse Hill. ?100m looks a bit low for DOR after listening to that video interview.
